I bought this book and read all three hundred and something pages in two days. I could not put it down. The story of a Confederate sniper named Lucas Cole, his mission kill General Ulysis S Grant. It had reallistic dialogue. A female confederate spy helps Cole throughout the novel. A book that deserves a movie adaption

This is a very good fictional book on the ending of the Civil War. The characters have depth. The story is consistant and captivating. The author adds good humor in just the right places and the story never grows old while you read. It's one of the few books that i've read that i wished didn't have to end. I only picked up this book to have something to read on a road trip and it turned out to be one of the best book purchases i've made.
