I'm going to tell you a little about the book Shatter. The main character is Darcy. Darcy is having a rough life; her dad left her whole family for 5 years and has been back for 1 year. Her mom is pregnant and her grandma died. Her sister Jamee is the only one she can really talk too. During the summer when Darcy's boyfriend (Hakeem) left; Darcy started seeing Brian. Brian tried to go too far with her on the couch. Her dad had to stop him. When Hakeem comes back, she tells him what Brian did to her. He went nuts! Him and his best friend, Cooper, went to Brian's and tried to beat him up! Tarah called Darcy and told her what was going on. Darcy had to stop it. So is Darcy's life going to keep getting worse and worse or will it start getting better and better? To find out, read the book!
RECOMENDATION
I recommend this book to read because it was about life circumstances that happen with many different families today. Also has life changing events. So if you like love, protection, sadness, nervous or exciting stories, I would read Shattered!

This book was so good it was about a girl name Darcy. She works at Scoops. She finds out that her ex-boyfriend is coming back to town. One of her friends called her on the phone and tells her to hurry up. Her ex-boyfriend Hakeem was there. When he seen her he start to stutter when he said her name. They set and eat for a while. Then they left and went home. When Darcy got home she herds her mother and her dad was talking. Then he got mad and left. Jamee is her sister. After her dad left she told something to her mom and her mom got so mad she slapped her. The next day was the first day of school. Then she started to talk to her friend in science. Darcy got so mad at because she wanted her to tell her something but she didn¿t. After school Darcy wanted to talk to Hakeem but this girl came in front of her and start to hug all over him. Darcy got so mad she just went home Hakeem tried to follow her but she told him to get away and he did. When she got home she saw a note on the counter. It was from her dad saying about what he had been doing. Then the next day is was school and Hakeem wrote her a note telling her what happened. Then she wrote him back. Then they went to the park to talk and she told him what happened. Hakeem got so mad he went to that boy¿s house that did something to him. Shattered is a book about a girl named Darcy who is having a tough time in life, her mom is abusive, and has bad friends. She thinks her life might get better when her old boyfriend Hakeem comes back into town, but it doesn't. She starts to talk to him at the diner when he gets back, she think everything is going fine, but she goes to talk to Hakeem at the end of school one day and finds out Hakeem has a new girlfriend that surprises Hakeem at school one day. Frustrated, Darcy runs home. The next day Hakeem tries to explain, but Darcy just ignores him. Darcy starts talking to Tarah about it and finds out that Tarah had know about it for awhile. Tarah tries to tell her how she is mad that she just didn't come out and say that he had a new girlfriend, this is a great book for teens.

This book is about a family and their friends with a lot of problems that they didn¿t know how to deal with or solve. They felt like the whole world fell on top of them and that they would never be able to get it off. They shared many tears, much pain together, but once everything that should have been said in the beginning is finally said, things become to change and they all became stronger even though the truth hurt them, they all shared many tears and pain together which was what made them become a stronger family, they all finally opened their eyes to reality. Darcy¿s problems started with her family when her father left them and came back 5 years later. Many things had happened over the summer and she didn¿t know what to think about it or how to deal with all of it. She also had problems with her boyfriend Hakeem and her two best friends Tarah and Cooper. She also had problems with a guy named Brian he left her many bad memories if you want to find out how Darcy is able to figure out all the solutions or if she finds them for her problems then you¿ll have to read Shattered by Paul Langan.

This book is about a girl named Darcy that had many problems with her family and her friend s and school and her boyfriend. Her boyfriends name was Hakeem and her bestfriends name was Tarah and Cooper. Someone with her type of problems can learn a lot from this book but if you really want to know what this book was about you will have to read it.
