About the Author

Emeph is a proud Black, GenX woman, born in NYC and raised in the Washington DC Metro Area. Her
Pisces brain sent her on a wandering journey in 1980 when she read her first sci-fi novel and said,
“I could do this.” What became the Tales of the Keshkin started with her mother’s typewriter and a box of
crayons (the 64-count ones) in 1983.

She currently lives in “The Hundredth Town,” Westborough, Massachusetts. She is married to a
wonderful man who keeps, at the very least, her toes on the ground. She is also a mother to two children
who grew under her heart and more ‘babies’ than she expected she would have the privilege of loving.
