    Great Short Story!

This was a wonderfully suspenseful short story. I can't wait for the book it's leading into!

    What a great short story!!!

What a fitting end to Faithful Deceptions...and now I can't wait for Target of Betrayal.

Even in this short, Melissa Ohnoutka keeps you on the edge of your seat! The suspense harrowing from the first page. I absolutely love how she takes the innocent and the guilty characters and makes them real. The sweet girls in this were so believable...and it's so sad to know human trafficking actually exists in this world!!

    Scary Stuff

In this volume, Ms. Ohnoutka does two things simultaneously: wraps up loose ends from her previous novel, FAITHFUL DECEPTIONS, and leads the reader into the opening setup for her next, TARGET OF BETRAYAL.

The villains of FAITHFUL DECEPTIONS are standing trial for their crimes. Through the brilliantly simple device of Patrick Roark sitting in a courtroom listening to the gut-wrenching testimony of an almost victim, she takes the reader into a world of absolute horror. Shockingly so. Be warned; while not explicit, the scene *will* haunt the reader long after reading.

Parallel to the courtroom action, we meet a young girl desperately trying to make sense of her world turned upside down and sideways. This, then, is the lead-in to TARGET OF BETRAYAL....and one hell of a lead-in it is. By the time you're done, you'll be frantic to find out what happens to this little girl, and extremely impatient for the release of TARGET.
