Perry Brewer is a beer-drinking, Kayla-screwing, collector-ducking attorney who's recently moved in next door. When Perry's sexcapades interrupt Jane's favorite nighttime soap, she pays him a visit to give him a piece of her mind. He retaliates by calling her names even a fourth-grader would scoff at, but for some reason Jane spends the next fifty pages crying and being woe. Then she wins the lottery, flies to Vegas, bleaches her hair, and--since Perry, feeling equally woe about having hurt Jane's feelings, has followed her to keep her away from loan sharks and Celine Dion--takes part in a fourway.

Oooookay.

Predictable but enjoyable nonetheless. It's nice to see an wallflower come into her own and recognize her self-worth. This book is part of a series that have several characters in common, but I found this one to be one of the best.

I had given up on category romance novels because in my experience, they were tired, and predictable. That is until I read 'Just Dare Me...' by Stephanie Bond. That was a great read which prompted me to buy 'She Did a Bad, Bad Thing' and again, I loved it! It was a fun and funny story. The chemistry and sexual tension between the characters was great. I highly recommend this book for a great summer read.
