Okay, but it way too over-rated. Typical and expected. The book would pick up, but than slow down. It was kind of all over the place, in a bad way. The ending was okay, but I'm not rushing to get Sheisty 2.

I thought the book was good and had a very good look in on things. But I felt like it just touched the surface. It didnt get really deep into any situation. And I didt think it should've ended so quick. BUT dont get me wrong the book was NOT bad.

Three friends who have problems holding their friendship together because of sex, money, and drugs. I like how this books keeps me guessing at the end of each chapter. Epiphany,Keisha, and Shana are three friends who have problems keeping up with their friendship, because each of the men who they mess with. Find who stops being friends and who gets killed at the end.

This book had much potential but it was short! I felt like the book was simple and easy to generate. I do have much respect for the author and the book WASNT BAD...i am just disappointed in the quality! Its a book to read, but not to buy.

The First Time I read Shesty I Thought I was dreaming. It was like I could picture myself being one of those girls. It's just like what some of us face almost every day.

When I first started reading this book I was so interested in what was going to happen next I couldn't sit the book down. I read the book in less than 24 hours. Once I got to the end of the book I new that I would have to get the sequel. I would recommend this book to many others.

This is a good quick book to read. I dont give it 5 stars because i read better but it still was a page urner. Im about to go out and get still sheisty, this boo left me hanging wanting to read more. Nothing but pure drama and thats all that is in a females life. i think these characters could have been more developed though, and who knew Keisha was going to mess up, and why would she leave that tape up in the VCR but we do need conflicts to make a book good. must read

I thought the book was something i've already read before. Very predictable. I think the whole book should have been about keisha, she's the only one i want to read about in part two.

The book was sooooo good. It goes to show that you cna' ttrust anyone, especially your best friend. Keisha was a horror in my eyes but the way Shana did her was wrogn to. She also messed herself up. I thought Keisha was going to stay a goodie goodie but I guess everyone has skeletons in their closet.

'oh my god' were the only words that left my mouth!! this book was so good! you have to get sheisty and still sheisty (sequel) together because sheisty leaves you hangin! overall i read both in two days.

Can a teenage friendship survive adulthood. In my opinion, T.N. Baker has written a very realistic coming of age tale that happens to take place in the hood. Close friends since their teens, Epiphany, Keisha, and Shana are now grown up, but with their hood mentality accompanying the young women into adulthood, their morals and values are rather skewed. The love of material possession, men of dubious character, and plain greed test the friendship. There is a cliffhanger ending with a preview of book two at the end of the story. Thus, to find out how everything ties together, the reader has to buy the sequel. All in all, it was a pretty good read.
