This is an outstanding book! I thought the way Simon Dumas displayed & handled her feelings was quite the wrong way- but also in a remarkable way did God transform it! This book is excellent for new believers, followers of Christ. This book isnt 'miraculously' perfect, it has the details of a hard life- a life that someone else out there might be having to deal with too. It was grousomely-sometimes, very realistic in this cruel world we live in. I always thought I had it bad off & yet there are so great many of things that are taken for granted every single day of our lives. This is an excellent book, I am definatley reading the rest of the series!

I liked 'A shelter of hope'. It was a quick read. I fully intend to read the sequeals to this book when time allows. This is the first Tracie Peterson book I recall reading. Now that I have read a sampling of her work I will look for other series by her.
