    Getting Better...

I have been an avid reader of Radclyffe's fiction for years and I must admit that her last couple of releases have sorely disappointed me. However, she steps it up with Sheltering Dunes. It's by no means a perfect story. The characters are a little flat and some of the story lines are not as fleshed out as they could be. Add that to the fact that the ending might as well be "insert Justice Series sequel here," and it was far from the satisfying read of her novels from years ago. However, it was much better than her recent release and kept me reading constantly to the very end.
