Sheltering Treeby NewSong
Good 12-track release featuring vibrant six-part harmonies from veteran group on the CCM scene. Similar in talent to Take 6 but with a far different style, this release features a wonderful mix of peppy and reflective tunes. Especially appropriate for a fan of vocal music.

I especially loved Christmas Shoes! What a wonderful message Newsong gives us at Christmas, reminding us all that Christmas is not about receiving, but giving.
Christmas Shoes has got to be the best Christmas Song I have heard in a long time. It really reminds you about what the season is about.
I first heard this song while I was driving to work, I could not get over the words which made me cry. We all should remember the true meaning of what christmas really means. Most of us are blessed with all our needs taken care of and can give to others who need our help not only for just this short chritmas season.
I read the lyrics for Christmas shoes before I heard the song. The words in themselves are sad, but when you hear the song, it hits home so much better. This song (Christmas Shoes) is sooo sweet. You'd better have a lot of tissues on hand!
After hearing ''Christmas Shoes'' on the internet, I knew I had to get the CD. When you hear the song you will cry. The kleenex better be near by.
I thought Christmas SHoes was SOOOOOO sad! I was cryin my eyes out! I hope NEWSONG didn't just do that for the money!
I love the song christmas shoe,it tell the true meaning of Christmas
My cousin and I were listening to the radio when Christmas Shoes came on. We both agreed that it is the best Christmas song ever! It shows the real meaning of Christmas.
My sister-in-law told me there was a movie about this song, it was on a couple of weeks ago, I think. I would like to know what the name of that movie was, and where I can get a copy of it? Thanks
Everyone raves about "Christmas Shoes", which turned out to be my least favorite song on this CD. That shows you how GREAT the rest of the songs are!! Every song is awesome. These songs give encouragement for putting God first in your life each day. They reinforce Biblical principles. They provide renewal and refreshment. And, the music is great... not too bee-boppy... it's got some teeth. You will love this CD!
A dear friend gave me this as a gift because he loved Red Letter Day. I had only heard Christmas Shoes and had never heard of the group otherwise. Thank you Walt for introducing me to this wonderful group. Incredibly well done technically and musically. Solid facts about dealing with life. Very upbeat, singable, danceable, and wonderful. Hard to pick a favorite but Red Letter Day, Sheltering Tree, and God and Time truely speak to me. Christmas Shoes was definately my least favorite.
