This one, though, is a little bit different. It features five songs each by the groups the Heartbeats and Shep & the Limelites, but since both were vehicles for the expressive, Sam Cooke-like singing voice of James Sheppard (Sheppard was a member of the Heartbeats in the '50s and then formed Shep & the Limelites in 1961), this set sounds a little more unified than the other entries in the series. It's still awfully short, though.
