Gary Reed is the author of more than 25 graphic novels and children's books. He has adapted classic works such as Frankenstein and Dracula to graphic novels for Penguin, created new and compelling books such as Saint Germaine, Raven Chronicles, and Renfield. He has also written works dealing with historical events and times such as Jack the Ripper and Troy. Jason Sacks of Silver Bullet Reviews describes Reed's writing as "... a very literary comics writer, one with a very sound base in much of the classic literature that inspired comics. That often helps give Reed's writing a real feeling of depth and power."
