When a plane takes off in the year 2014 and crashes fifty years in the future, the injured survivors struggle to make new lives for themselves in a world where werewolves are on the hunt for mates.

Plane crash survivor Sherry Rowe was out of her mind with pain when help arrived at the crash site. When the big gray wolf transformed before her eyes into a gorgeous naked man who claimed her as his mate she thought he was a hallucination induced by the horror of the plane crash and the pain of her broken legs. But days later, he was still there, trying to nurse her while coaxing her to accept his mate claim. How could Jumping Stag expect her to love him, a man who turns into a perverted animal, when she was still dealing with the loss of everything she's ever known? Stag perseveres in his patient wooing, but his patience has limits, and Sherry is about to find out what happens when a wolf decides he's done waiting.

This free novella continues the After the Crash series. It follows Sleeping With the Wolf, Wolf's Glory and Wolf Tracker.

Meet the Author

Hi, I'm Maddy Barone, reader, writer, knitter, lover of historic costume and day dreamer. As a member of the SCA, a historical re-creation group, I get to wear all kinds of cool clothes from the Middle Ages and Renaissance. I've always written stories, mostly for my own enjoyment. It wasn't until recently that I decided to be serious about my writing and submitted Sleeping With the Wolf (After the Crash #1). I was amazed and thrilled when Liquid Silver Books offered me a contract. I have a total of 7 books planned for the series. Since I work full time I don't get to spend as much writing as I'd like. At this rate, Wolf's Princess won't be published until I'm 60!

Picked this one up because it was free and I'm glad I did! I liked the idea that human kind survived the apocalypse and created a new society without electricy and that stuff. in 2014 Terroritsts bombed cities all over the world at the same time, and contaminted the water supply. The result is lots and lots of people dying and the ones who lived run away to the country. Fifty years later werewolves are part of this distop0ian world, but since there aren't many women, they are ecstatic when a plane full of women time travels and crashes. A lot of them die in the crash or are badly hurt. But the wolves who find them take good care of them and some of the wolves choose women to be their mates.
I felt bad for Sherry going from the hustle bustle of New York City to the quiet of a rural life without any technology. I get why she was so reluctant to marry Stag at first. But once she did decide to accept himand they moved into the bedroom --fanning myself--it was sweet. Really hot, but emotionally sweet too. I am going to buy the other books in this series and gobble them down.

    Great read

This book was great. The author has developed a futuristic, wolfy, after WW3 society that has few women. Sherry and Stag have a rocky start. His wolf claims her, but she is so traumatized by the plane crash, her husbands death, broken legs, and being flung 50 years in the future that she needs time to heal. Stag is a patient man, to a point, then his cousins idea, to use an old romance novel, to court his mate, has him kidnapping her with sexy results. I recomend you read all the rest of the books in this series, you will not regret it.

    Not worth it

Free but not worth it. This book took forever to get to the plot. FOREVER!!!!!! This author spins a fine tale but the female character kept going back and forth the entire book and cried a Great Lake all through the book. This authors other titles look interesting. The descriptions intrigue me but, I absolutely do not want to risk another boring book to get to the last 20 pages for the book to kick off. I honestly don't understand how 13 other people rated this book so high. Hmmmm I wonder?

    3 stars (barely)

    worth reading (slightly)...
    Total Pages: 216...Story Pages: 202...free e-book...
A plane full of passengers crashes. When the survivors are rescued, they are no longer in their time; they are 50 years in the future, and it's a post-apocolyptic future. There are werewolves too. These werewolves try to claim the female plane survivors as their 'mates'. The werewolves are Lakota indians, as far as I could tell.
THIS IS BOOK 3 OF THE SERIES! SO YOU'LL HAVE TO BUY THE FIRST TWO OUT OF SEQUENCE BECAUSE THIS ONE IS FREE.

    what?

This may have been an okay story if the author had at least tried to giive an explaination as to how an airplane is trown 50 years into the future. As it is written, it is simply a sex scene preceeded by less than satisfactory bits and pieces of charactors without substancial or believable plot line. I was very disappointed.
