I love the authentic truths told in this book. It is a beautiful account of a less than perfect childhood. The heroine is inspirational and funny, making you want more of her. You will laugh and see life through the eyes of an wide-eyed innocent child. I highly recommend this book for anyone wanting a fun, easy read. It felt like I was reading a "Cambell's" Chicken Soup for the Soul book...or maybe "pot liquor soup for the soul". You'll laugh about that last sentence after reading the book ; ) Can't wait to read more by this author!
