Overview

The Shift-the book inspired by the movie of the same name-illustrates how and why to make the move from ambition to meaning. Experience the internationally renowned principles and teachings of Dr. Wayne W. Dyer as they come to life in this one-of-a-kind ... e-book. Download The Shift and allow these lessons to guide you down a more authentic and rewarding path today. As we contemplate leaving the morning of our life, where ego has played a commanding role, and entering the afternoon (and evening), where meaning and purpose replace ambition and struggle, we may encounter unexpected occurrences that accompany this new direction. It's almost a universal law that we'll experience a fall of some kind. Yet these falls or low points provide the energy we need to move away from ego and into a life of meaning and purpose. The Shift doesn't mean that we lose our drive and ambition; it signifies that we become ambitious about something new. We make a commitment to living a life based on experiencing meaning and feeling purposeful, rather than a life based on never-ending demands and false promises that are the trademark of the ego's agenda.

I thought the movie was great!!!!!!!!!!

The message in this movie. Was one of the best I have seen in a long time. I have been telling all my friends and family about it. I think I will be giving this as gifts. Dr. Dyer is great.

    A bit short

If you have read Dyer's Intent, Inspiration, or Excuses, then you've read this. As a companion to the movie and/or for someone not familiar with his work, it might be lovely. But for anyone already a fan, this will be a slight, unsatisfying regurgitation.

    Fascinating

This film draws you in to the information usually provided by Dr. Dyer in seminar or book form. This film can be viewed several times over and you can see things that become clear, which were unnoticed before.

    Don't waste your money

I have always been a big fan of Dyer. This book however was my least favorite. There is a lot of "I" connotation He seems to be in a strong state of ego without realizes it. Hopefully, he doesnt think he is the messiah in his next book. I have the audio book and do not recommend it. I did not see the movie.
