I will try not to give too many spoilers**
I actually liked this book, It was a great follow-up from the first book Lucia's Story.
Here you have a child who has lost her father in tragic circumstances, and is trying to deal with that and is attacked by an animal and changed against her will, Obviously.
She is then raised very sheltered, making her slightly naive, until finally her mother allows her to go on a date for the first time and she meets a man who turns out to be her worst nightmare.
Her world is flipped upside down.
She 's able to escape and make it back home, but the man won't give up, he wants her, her mother and sister's along with the other women who've escaped from his clan and stumbled up on her family seeking help. This sends them fleeing across the country where you meet up with the characters from the first book.
I love how she blends the books so you can see how the characters are doing from the first book and meet up with old characters who's story now begins.
The book was excellent and I give it four stars.
