Meet the Author

As a child, books were my constant companion. I've always loved to read, but I didn't start writing until I was twelve. I've had two books published with Harlequin under the name Kasi Blake, but YA books are my favorites. I never outgrew them.

I teach kindergarten thru 2nd grade at a private school, and I reside in Missouri with my two cats, Blanca and Gracie Bear.

    What about the next one?

Amazing. I loved it, honestly, but it says in the end; The End? Like it's a question or something. Where is Warlocks Rule, because, it said 2013 and it is 2014...

    Shifter School Chapter Two

"Ah, I thought you would come around." The woman says, smirking. "Everything will be explained more throughly when we get to the school. It is in Ireland, in replacment of an old castle."

My eyes widen at the mention of Ireland "No, I can't I don't have enough money to go across the country, I definatelt dont have enough to go all the way to Ireland" I say, shaking my head, preparing to get up.

"No no, Fable, sit back down. Everything is paid for. The plane ticket and every student has a budget each month for anything they want to buy." The woman says, a sparkle in her eyes. "You have one day to pack for living there. I've already checked you out of school for 'medical' purposes. At 9:30 tomorrow morning go to Ravenbrook Airport and look for, There will be a sign saying 'Shifting Border School' now if anyone asks it is a bording shool for children from orphanages...since you are from one. I have informed your head of the Ravenbrook Orphanage so no need to sneak around. Just don't tell anyone else the situation of your leaving...not everyone is exactly welcoming of Shifters." She smiles weakly and with that is gone.

I sit in shock •Oh no. I just agreed to go with a woman who's name I don't even know all the way to Ireland to live in a school for people who shift into animals...What is wrong with me?• I think, standing up and staring the trek back to the orphanage.
