    Happy new year honey, stop spending so much money!

    My wife spends like a maniac - guess what I'm getting her for the holidays? Shoo, Jimmy Choo! This book is great - got all the money management basics anybody needs, written in a way I know my wife will relate to. This would be a great gift for your wife/girlfriend/daughter -- perfect for the New Year's resolution YOU want her to make, especially during these tough times.

    Perfect for Getting On Track

    I didn't know anything about finances before I read this book. I really had no idea about anything and have always lived in fear of my credit score. But after reading Catey Hill's book it all makes sense! And she makes saving sound like fun, because it is! Do not skip her little activities throughout the book, especially the goal-setting and retirement parts... they really do help you! I also found the "Spending Style" section very helpful too because she broke down what percent of your paycheck should be spent.

    I continue to refer to the book as I get more and more out of debt and I actually can't wait to start opening new accounts, like an MMA and a Roth IRA. The disappointment was that it wasn't longer because it became very list-y towards the end. There's a lot of explaining and walking-through in the beginning, but once you start getting through the book she begins just listing what things mean and I wished she would elaborate. Overall, this is a great starter book to finances.

    Great practical advice delivered in a fun way.

    This is really a timely book, filled with great tips on how to remain independent financially while maximizing your assets. It helps you sort out your choices and make good decisions that won't get you in the hole. And it's really fun to read!

    Great read!

    I got an advance copy of Shoo Jimmy Choo from the magazine where I work, and I thought it was great! It's got all the money basics you need to know - getting out of debt, saving for retirement, buying a home, etc. - but it's not dry and boring like some other personal finance books I've seen. The author's got a breezy, witty tone and she knows what she's talking about at the same time. I def. recommend this book to any woman who wants to manage her money better!
