Giovanna “Gia” Spumanti and her cousin Isabella “Bella” Rizzoli are going to have the sexiest summer ever. While they couldn’t be more different—pint-size Gia is a carefree, outspoken party girl and Bella is a tall, slender athlete who always holds her tongue—for the next month they’re ready to pouf up their hair, put on their stilettos, and soak up all that Seaside Heights, New Jersey, has to offer: hot guidos, cool clubs, fried Oreos, and lots of tequila.
So far, Gia’s summer is on fire. Between nearly burning down their rented bungalow, inventing the popular “tan-tags” at the Tantastic Salon where she works, and rescuing a shark on the beach, she becomes a local celebrity overnight. Luckily, she meets the perfect guy to help her keep the flames under control. Firefighter Frank Rossi is exactly her type: big, tan, and Italian. But is he tough enough to handle Gia when things really heat up?
Bella is more than ready for some fun in the sun. Finally free of her bonehead ex-boyfriend, she left home in Brooklyn with one goal in mind: hooking up with a sexy gorilla for a no-strings-attached summer fling. In no time, she lands a job leading “Beat Up the Beat” dance classes at a local gym, and is scooped up by Beemer-driving, preppy Bender Newberry. Only problem: Bella can’t get her romantic and ripped boss Tony “Trouble” Troublino out of her head. He’s relationship material. Suddenly, Bella’s not sure what she wants.
The cousins soon realize that for every friend they make on the boardwalk, there are also rivals, slummers, and frenemies who will do anything to ruin their summer—and try their relationship. Before July ends, the bonds of family and friendship will be stretched to the breaking point. Will the haters prevail, or will Gia and Bella find love at the Shore?
For everyone who loves MTV’s hit reality show, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi’s sweet, funny, and sexy novel perfectly captures the heat, the energy, the fun, and the drama of Jersey Shore.

If you haven't even read the book why are you reviewing it? Personally, I am not a Snooki fan myself but I won't judge a book by it's cover (literally). It's sad when you go out of your way to search for the book just to write a negative review for the people that actually want to read the book. Then again, I bet you people will do anything to get away from your boring lives for just a few seconds. Put the keyboards down, and walk away. PLEASE!!

I actually read this book out of curiosity and this book was actually pretty good. It was funny and had a little romance in it. It's nice to see reviews on here that are saying what I have been. Why can people keep talking about how bad a book is when most haven't even read it only because of who it is by. I think surprisingly she did do a good job.

It was like reading an episode of Jersey Shore, but I expected that...I liked how the book was writen as well. I noticed a few times that when Id read a few chapters, then watched the show, some things were similiar. Like Bells ex being controlling, then watching the one show where Jwoww said her ex Tom was like that too. Although, it didnt ruin anything, just tiny things I noticed like that. When I found out about her book on the Todays show, she said the characters were her, and Jwoww so it was easy to imagine the characters in the book, since I watch the show. I think fans of the show would enjoy reading this. It definetly kept me turning the pages.

This book was written more in the style of a ten novel with extra cursing and a lot more sex. That being said, it kept to the style of Snooki and was clearly inspired by her time at the Shore. It was an easy read eith the necessary drama. I recommend it if you are looking for a unique romance novrl.

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged. No really, I read it out of curiosity, I didn't wanna judge a book based on its cover (author; not that she deserves that title) and all that; and geeze it just made me hate myself for it. 'Trash' sums up this waste of space in one word. Sadly I kept hoping it would get better but like Snookie usually does, it fell flat on it's you know what.

I have seen so many reviews from people who never read this book, my favorite being the person who reviewed it with one star because they could not get THEIR book published and are upset that Snooki did. Come ON people! This book is so Snooki and I am glad that I bought it. My husband and friends made fun of me...but its a good book. B&N should only allow people to review something if they bought it through B&N. People have way too much time on their hands to give a book a review having never read it. Fist pump!

The dialogue is the same the characters are portrayed in the same style, it's a cute beach read. I think those who have all the negative remarks are only seeking out a venue to attack the show (what were they expecting some in depth dark drama??). It's light-hearted and funny and will probobly appeal more so to fans of the show! It was exactly what I expected.

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged. If you are looking for a quick, light hearted read where you'll find yourself giggling a little, this may be the book. The concept is a cute one, although fully expected, but hey, what can ya do? We all know Snooki spent days trying to think of a catchy title, and the opening paragraph teaches you how to do her signature pouf.... Overall, if you're a fan of her's and/or the show, you'll more than likely read it, just to satisfy your curiosity. Just don't go looking for words with more than 2 syllables; they're scarce... And with all do respect to the people bashing the books, but she's the one walking to the bank to cash in on it, so the girl must be doing something right.

When you're vocabulary is as intelligible as a baby's whine, I find it hard to believe you constructed a novel-length story of substance. Wait, maybe I should be consuming a substance to actually get through it.
Let's face it, this won't be a best seller because the majority of your audience doesn't read anyway. And if by chance this book does reach that level, I'll bet money the list is rigged.
