Isobella Jade is a petite model and author based in New York City. She's been featured in The New York Times, The New York Post, The New York Daily News, The Los Angeles Times, The Sydney Morning Herald, Mac Life, Mac World, Glamour, Allure, Marie Claire UK and multiple other international fashion magazines.

"A shade under 5-feet-4, Isobella Jade has been building a brand - herself - for the petite model."-The New York Daily News

"Before Tyra was giving shorties hope on Cycle 13 of 'America's Next Top Model,' Isobella Jade was already in their corner."-The Los Angeles Times

"Petite model Isobella Jade has faced some diversity in the modeling world, to say the least....But she busted right through those 'you're too short' obstacles to land modeling gigs for Macy's, Victoria's Secret, and more."-Glamour magazine

"Isobella Jade may seem an unlikely graphic novel writer, coming from the modeling world. But then, she was an unlikely model. Jade, standing about 5 feet, 4 inches tall, calls herself the Seabiscuit of models, referring to the undersized thoroughbred that became a racing sensation."

-Publishers Weekly

"It looks like we can welcome Isobella Jade to the ranks of those writers who believed in themselves so fiercely that they attracted the faith of others as well."-GalleyCat, Media Bistro

"Almost 5'4" is a very readable, very revealing memoir that feels at times like you are peeking at someone's secret diary."-MacWorld UK

"As for Ms. Jade, whose modeling career is advancing, she has yet to buy a computer from the Apple store. But she is still welcome to check her e-mail - and stay as long as she likes."

-The New York Times

"Yet behind Jade's small frame is an iron will bolstered with rock-hard determination."

-Mac Directory Magazine

"People have long cataloged the bizarre writing habits of authors, from P.G. Wodehouse pinning pages on his wall to Dan Brown timing his push-up and sit-up breaks with an hourglass. Now we can add the name Isobella Jade to that collection."-The New York Post

"Isobella Jade would probably hold the record for being Apple's most famous freeloader."

-Sydney Morning Herald

"There's more than meets the eye to pint-size model Isobella Jade. Underneath her petite 5'4" frame is a woman who is well on her way to creating her own media empire."

-New York Daily News

"...wizard of self promotion."

-Advertising Age

"Model Life: The Journey of a Pint-Size Fashion Warrior...takes a brand-new approach to the story of a girl trying to break into the biz."

-Allure magazine

    interesting for models and nonmodels

This was an interesting look at the world of modeling especially petite modeling. Isobella has an engaging writing style which kept my attention from page to page. I liked the extra pages at the end with all of the tips for models and nonmodels. Great book!
