Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
"Short-Term Trading in the New Stock Market is a "must-read" source for gaining the trading skills and strategies needed to maneuver in today's volatile markets. The electronic markets are constantly evolving, and traders of all levels will greatly benefit from the tips and strategies provided by Toni in this comprehensive volume. We are proud to have Toni using the RealTick® platform, and realize that the formula to successful trading starts with a firm understanding of market dynamics and the tools available to best trade them. Short-Term Trading in the New Stock Market is a definitive resource to help traders gain this knowledge."—MarrGwen Townsend of Townsend Analytics, Ltd.

"In Short-Term Trading in the New Stock Market Toni mentioned "to learn so as to not burn." Since I focus on candle charts "burn" got my attention! As to the "learn" in that phrase—-you will discover how well (and enjoyably) Toni covers two important aspects: (1) learning how to read the market's message; and (2) the vital—-and much overlooked—-aspect of learning about yourself as a trader. This is why Toni's book is such a gem. A Japanese proverb says, "A jewel unless polished will not shine." Short-Term Trading will make your trading shine."—Steve Nison, CMT, president of Candlecharts.com, author of Japanese Candlestick Charting, The Candlestick Course, and Beyond Candlesticks

"Toni has compiled a wealth of information and knowledge that will help any market participant. Each chapter opens up the mind and fosters confidence."—David S. Nassar, founder/CEO of marketwise.com, New York Times bestselling author of How to Get Started in Electronic Daytrading and Rules of the Trade

"I suspect that readers, if they are like me, will be sorry to see this book end. Turner has been able to put each topic into bite-sized pieces that make them very easy to digest. Both the newer and veteran trader will appreciate the fact that she's more interested in educating and elucidating than in appearing smarter than everyone else." —Gail Osten, executive editor, Stocks, Futures and Options magazine

    Derivative & Giddy

This is a remake of David Nassar's Rules of the Trade, which is a better, more sober & coherent book. She even cribs the 7 Secrets series. This book has a lot of information, which is very good, but the information is organized in a trivialized & messy format, smiley faces & all.

    Read this book!

This book helped me to easily understand the techniques and strategies that are necessary to survive in today's stock market. Toni makes this often dry topic fun and exciting to learn about.
