    TRULY INSPIRING!!!!!!!!

One of the best CD's ever recorded. I highly recommend buying this album. It's not everyday you can buy a CD and put it in your player and not have to worry about skipping a song. ALL of these songs are awesome. I hope everyone out there reading this buys this album so you can be inspired like I was when I first heard this man sing. Tony not only has changed my life on a personal matter, but has now done so musically. Thanks Tony! Nothing but love from AZ!

    Great CD!

Some people may reconize Tony Lucca from the Mickey Mouse Club, and this CD is even produced by two of his former castmates. The highlights of this CD are definately "She's True," "Roller Coaster," "Shotgun," and "Happily Ever After." You won't be disappointed if you pick it up. Tony is a very talented singer/ songwriter, he underrated and talented, one of the best in a very long time!

If you want a cd that you don't want to skip around tracks because you don't like all the tracks...this is the cd to buy. Every song that Tony has written is music to your ears. The music keeps you jamming and when you just need to relax throw the cd in, it puts you in the best mood. This is a must have cd that everyone should be buying.

    Best CD to date

This is definitely by far one of Tony's best efforts to date. I love the single "She's True", which was featured on an episode of Felicity. It is a beautiful ballad with endearing love in the lyrics. Tony's soulful melodies and lyrics will have you pushing repeat on your CD player, just so you can listen to the CD over and over again. From the days of the Mickey Mouse Club, this Mousketeer has sure evolved and become someone who deserves all the accolades he gets, mine being one of the many.

    Talented Singer/Songwriter

If you are just discovering Tony Lucca, this cd is a wonderful place to start! The lyrics are expressive and beautifully written. Tony tells a story with each song and no matter how many times you hear it, you will never get tired! I am used to hearing Tony play live (if you get a chance to see him, DO NOT miss it!), but the background music and vocals on this album are a nice addition. This cd has a good mix of mellow and upbeat songs. And, as is a plus for any cd, includes lyrics for every song. I haven't taken Shotgun out of my cd player since I got it. I highly recommend it!

    Watch Out John Mayer!

There has been a boom of new musicians that are painting the entertainment scene with their blues/rock/jazz albums. John Mayer, Josh Grobin, and Nora Jones are given a run for their money with the release of Tony Lucca's newest album 'Shotgun'. Lucca has been an independent recording artist since 1997 and has finally decided to sign with a record label, Lightyear, to better accomadate his growing fan base. His first album, So Satisfied, sold out its original 2000 copies. A re-issue of the album was later made, and that sold out as well. The sophomore album, Strong Words Softly Spoken, also sold out all of its copies. Two limited edition volumes along with two compilation albums, So Far and Simply Six, followed before this new CD hit stands. If you're looking for a soulful song-writer with a rock sense of music Tony Lucca is your man. His songs are written from the heart and they deal with everyday situations that we can all relate to. The best thing of about this guy is that he is a true musician. Not only does he have talent on the guitar, piano, and drums, but he is humble in every sense of the word. Give his music a chance and I guarentee that you will not be disappionted. On a personal note, check out the song 'Catch Me'. It's a great tune.

    Look Out For Tony Lucca!

Being an avid fan of Tony Lucca, and a faithful follower from coast to coast and show to show, nothing can sum up my experience in my first listening of his latest, and in my opinion, best album, than the actual title of the album itself, "shotgun". This is a true artist at it's finest ladies and gentlemen. Tony slicks back on all the perverbal "Pop Propaganda", and quenches the thirst of those young adults who have far surpassed the Britney Spears pop era. Finally, I can open an album and not only feel like I am the artists friend, I feel like I am able to properly breathe again. Let me take you on this magical and thrilling ride, I'd like to call Luvin' Lucca! The title song, "Shotgun", a delicious and smooth harmonic melody, fulfilling the hunger for a new and upcoming superstar. Next, we arrive at "Catch Me", a contemplative and reflective love song that makes you want to hold your lover/former lover, just one last time. Then there's my absolute favorite song, "Someone to Love you", with a hook so smooth, you will feel like a fish in new water. I can't say enough about Tony Lucca's efforts on this album. He is an amazing artist that inspires me every day, and this is the album that is going to bring him into his much deserved public adoration.~And that's only by the third song!~ Now it's on to the main course, "Bad Guy", "Maiden of My Madness", "MMM", and "She's True", where this artist took me on a personal emotional roller coaster of why the ride of love is so worthwhile. Anyone who has seen Tony perform live can tell you that track number eight (8) "Roller Coaster", is the funniest and most upbeat song to hear live. But somehome this song feels like home to me. I really believe that this will most definitely be a number one hit. Number nine, "Happily Ever After" is yet another wanderlust spell that has cast its way to my heart. It's about being so in love, that you become a dream together, and that in itself is beautiful. "Lost Angeleno", "By A Thread"~with its accolades to electric guitar, allows the perfect pump-up volume that is vaguely seen by most acoustic artists. Way to go Tony!! We arrive now at the interlude, a grand and pleasureable tune called "Attach the Hitch". Rearing the end of this tasteful journey comes "Broken Wagon", a song about finding the truth in yourself amidst the heart-learned lesson. I took my departure at the final track of the album, a mellow feel, speakeasy tune that wraps the entire meal up, with a luscious need for more, entitled "Welcome to the Bay." For anyone out there who is considering buying this album, do yourself a favor and enter the world of Tony Lucca, I promise it will move your soul. :o)

    Lovin' this cd....

Shotgun is a breathe of fresh air in the otherwise stale music industry! I love the first single Catch Me and can't wait to hear what is released next. The album is diverse with some songs that are slow, mid-tempo, and up beat. If you like John Mayer, I would definitely check out Tony Lucca!
