Paige and Marlon have been in a relationship for the past seven years and have a daughter. Paige is devoted to Marlon due to him being a good provider and father. But Paige¿s love doesn¿t seem to be enough to make Marlon put a ring on her finger. To make matters worse, Paige has to deal with Marlon¿s alcoholic mother who doesn¿t like her and all of the drama that comes with it. In the midst of all this, Paige meets Quincy Westbrooke who seems to be all the man that she needs. Will Paige finally get rid of Marlon and get on with her life? Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda is an entertaining novel by La Jill Hunt. Hunt brought a story that was full of excitement and drama. I liked Paige as a character and how she was trying to make the best decision for herself and her daughter. This author showed how women can be stuck in long term relationships and still not get the fulfillment that they desire. I also enjoyed the drama between Paige and her cousin Celeste. Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda is a true page-turner and is the perfect lead-in to the sequel Too Close For Comfort.

THIS BOOK STARTED OFF WITH A BLAST. IT HAD ME READY TO SETTLE IN AND START READING NON STOP. BUT AFTER THE FIRST THREE CHAPTERS, IT STARTED TO LOSE SOME OF IT'S THUNDER. IT WAS A GOOD READ THOUGH. PAIGE, THE MAIN CHARACTER DEALS WITH LETTING GO OF A RELATIONSHIP THAT IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE. AND LEARNING TO TRUST A NEW LOVE IN HER LIFE. BUT LOOK OUT FOR THE FIREWORKS WITH HER NEW LOVE AND PAIGE'S COUSIN CELESTE. THE ONLY OTHER THING WITH READING THIS BOOK WAS ALOT OF TYPING ERRORS. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND A NEW EDITOR. BUT DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU FROM PICKING UP THIS BOOK.

Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda by essence best selling author La Jill Hunt was a great book! It is a fiction novel with action, comedy and a whole lot of drama. The major theme of the book is when love has taken you to a dead end and its time to let go are you going to let go or are you going to try and hold on to a love that is lost. When you finally let go are you going to let your old love keep you from starting a new love? In the book Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda the main character Paige goes through drama after drama. First she leaves her daughters father and a ten-year relationship after a confrontation with his mother. When Paige finally gets back into the swing of things she gets a new job, a house, and finds a new love. But when things seem to be just perfect her and her new love¿s old loves try and come back into their lives. Will they let them back or will they fight against the odds and make the new love work? This was a great book the only downside and complaint was that I got lost at times. It seemed like one character became another for one page and then it went back. But besides that I would give it two thumbs up for the creative writing, comedy and of course, the drama. The writers unique writing style made it easier for me to feel what Paige was felling at times it also made it easier to understand things a lot better and how each character felt about certain situations. The comedy in this book was the perfect kind of funny for this dramatic book. Lets just say when is the last time you in your mother in law got into a fistfight and you actually tried to avoid it? Or when you cousin come and socks your daughter birthday cake out of your hand? Oh and I cant forget about the drama. Just image if you found out that your boyfriend had another child and he was cheating on you, with your neighbor! I know I would go off but what do you think page does? Well to find out about the rest of the drama you are going to just have to read Shoulda, Woulda, Coulda by essence best selling author La Jill Hunt and find out.

I truly enjoyed this book and would recommend it for those who get tired of the drug dealing, street whore type stories. The story kept me interested throughout, but there were a few confusing parts. I guess it had to do with the editing. It may be a good idea to have the book re-edited because the mistakes take away from the story.

Ms.La Jill Hunt, this book is great. It only took me a day to read it and I just wished that it was more to it. Please come out with a part 2 to it and improve with the grammer but other than that, I really enjoyed it.

LaJill-this is a great story. You always come with 'real' life situations. I love seeing a few of the old characeters too. I have to give it a 5 because I could not put it down. Only one down side. The editing needed alot of improvement, that was just a little confusing along with using the wrong characeters name once. I can't wait for the rest......
