    Excellent Album

Even though Darlene and her vorship team have been writing songs since the early 90's every song in this album sends shivers down my spine. Then with Ron Kenoly as a guest singer in the album it makes it a real treat.

    Powerful Live Worship Ever Recorded

On May 28th, 2000 Hillsong Music Australia came to Houston, TX and had a powerful praise and worship with over 3,000 people... They sung most songs from a new album called 'By Your Side'... 'I Feel Like I'm Falling,' 'Dwelling Places,' and 'Sing of Your Great Love' were among the favorites from this new album. 'This Is How We Overcome' got everyone up and dancing before God... and so did 'Hear Our Praises,' 'The Potter's Hand,' 'My Redeemer Lives,' 'Shout to the Lord' and 'Eagle's Wings' from the Shout to the Lord 2000 cd. God was in the midst watching and touching lives... as Darlene Zschech lead the worship. God was healing through Hillsong that night. Over 500 people were giving and re-dedicating their lives to the Lord at the altar call. Pastor Brian Houston from Hills Christian Life Centre gave the Word and shared briefly about the birth of Hillsong Music. Pastor Darlene Zschech even prayed over the songwriters and worship leaders as they came forth to the altar... They finished with a new song written by Joel Houston (Pastor Brian's son) called 'Everyday' that is powerfully anointed but is not found in this album. Hillsong is currently touring in America, and if you catch Hillsong this summer, come with great expectations... God will meet you unfailingly... as always. Hearing this recorded 'live worship' is just as powerful as having Darlene Zschech and Hillsong passionately worshipping God on-stage. Set the atmosphere and leave enough space for you to shuffle your feet, lift your hands and dance before the Lord as you praise and worship Him in spirit and in truth! Hillsong also has a new limited edition album called 'Millennium: The Story So Far.' It's an awesome album... just like all other Hillsong's albums... 'Shout to the Lord 2000' and 'By Your Side' are the best live worship albums ever recorded!!! I give them 5 stars, 2 thumbs up, and a long-lasting standing ovation. God is doing marvelous and wonderful works through them!!! Come ride in this awesome journey of praise and worship with Hillsong!!! Their anointing will draw you closer to Jesus more and more... God Bless.

    Great worship resource

This is one of the best worship resources I know of. I've incorporated several of the songs into the worship ministry of my church.

Makes you want to sing along

The songs, 'My Redemer Lives' and 'God is Good', are sweet sounding and inspirational and you'll be singing them in the shower.
