    Highly reccomended!! Funny and touching!

    As the mother of two children with special needs, I found this book to be refreshingly honest about the blessings and the hardships of rasing children with additional needs. I laughed, I cried, and for the first time in a very long while, I felt like I wasn't alone. This is one of those books I will read again and again when I need a little lift.

    Highly Reccomended!! Honest and funny!

    As the mother of two children with very different special needs, I found this book to be refreshing, honest and funny. This accounting of rasing children with additional needs covers the heartbreak, humor and hilarity of rasing children in a world obsessed with "normal" and "perfect". I was reminded that I am not alone in this journey, and for that I am appreciative. This is one of those books I will read again and again when I need a little lift and encouragement.

    A MUST READ FOR ANY PARENT WITH AN IMPERFECT KID

    I smiled, I laughed, and I cried. But mostly I felt that there was finally 2 people I could relate too, that understood what it was REALLY like to be a parent of a child with special needs. My son has autism and to read someone else's story of living with autism made feel as if I wasn't so alone anymore. It also made me realize that its okay to have an "IMPERFECT" child, its something to celebrate everyday!

    Thanks you Gina And Patricia for helping me cope with being a single mom with a child that isn't perfect and for helping me to say, its not just okay, its great!!!

    A must read for any parent with an IMPERFECT KID
