The last book written by Buchan, he completed days before his death, sad but compelling. The main character Sir Leithan sets off in search of a missing man despite being told he's dying. Leithan doesn't wallow in self pity, but the character steps off into the horizon, in the form of the canadian wilds. The description of the landscape is worth the read alone, but Leithan's thoughts are interesting too.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback.
