I have been using this book quit frequently but as a stand alone it offers little depth. One needs to add additional materials to make it work, mainly because it becomes quit repetitive. The second book has a very steep learning curve, where the expected level goes up too fast I have never gone farther then the second book because it seems to me it would serve the student more to start actually getting into conversations rather then to parrot their way further into English
