To accompany this book, there is a SIGN LANGUAGE MADE SIMPLE PRA

To accompany this book, there is a SIGN LANGUAGE MADE SIMPLE PRACTICE DVD on the market that should be listed here, also. It is a MUST for buyers of this book, for it features a professional sign language interpreter who demonstrates all of the 600 signed sentences. She brings the sign drawings to life in motion. The learner not only practices signing, but can practice READING and UNDERSTANDING the interpreter's signed sentences. For clarification, note that using American Sign Language (ASL) signs in English sentences is called "Contact Signing" because it easily enables hearing persons to communicate with those who are deaf. And, to complete the "contact", many, if not most deaf individuals switch from ASL to English sentences when communicating with hearing persons.

    not for a beginner

This is a ok book for those who know a little sign and want to form sentences. I don't recommend this book for someone who is just starting. Not very visual and explaining the signs are a little difficult for someone who knows nothing about signing.
