This book brings out facts that are very interfaith. Mr. Jeffrey sheds light on the accuracy of the Bible and its incredible history of transmission. Far from being the rare, locked away, or haphazard work that some would have us believe, the Bible is a document that seems almost alive with its ability to survive enemies. Bravo Grant! Good job worthy servant!

Grant Jeffery tries to use logic and reason to support the factual basis of the bible. He begins by saying that some of the historical facts are true, so therefore must be written by god and all be true. I am sorry but going by that logic STEVEN KING would be writing non-fiction because he uses elements of reality in his fantasy books. Then he tries to say that these biblical people had some real scientific knowledge so it must have been given to them by god. He says that when the bible says something wrong it is a colloqual expression but if it is right it is the word of god. He also tries to disprove evolution by misunderstanding the statistics used in science. He says that the old testiment prophesies were fulfilled by the new testiment. However, that only shows that the writers of the new testiment read the old testiment and kept it self consistant. I can do that by writing a sequel to a book and making sure that the things said in the first are still true in the second, and i'm not even god. I have to admit, the part on codes made me think at first. Then i went to the website cited www.biblecodedigest.com and was very disappointed. I thought that there may have been a few codes of significant events and that might have been interesting and important. But, on the website it shows predictions from the bible about everything showing that if you look hard enough for something you will eventually find it. Especially with the translation from hebrew to english. Word meanings change over time and these codes will try to find every possible meaning for the word and fit it to the context.
