Want a NOOK? Explore Now
Robbie's twelve years old and curious about the woman who's rented their fishing hut. He’s never met anyone like her. His mum says she’s a writer doing research for her next book, and doesn’t want any contact with anyone for the whole time she’s there. Robbie can’t get his head round this. Why would someone want to cut themselves off from everything? What silence is she really keeping?

Ii liked the way the story was written, You have to learn that with short stories that you don't always get all the answers, I think this would have been a great novel, There was a lot of imagination here, good job,

Dark story.
Lots of types of silence in this short story.
Great characters. Easy to visualize.

Don't bother! Plot is lousy and it's not worth the cost -- oops, it's free. Still not worth the cost!
