Now that's a Silent hill comic book I can get behind!

I first got into the Silent hill series through watching a walkthrough by an internet reviewer (Phelous, for those of you who were wondering), and became very intrigued by the glorious and superior atmosphere of terror I felt from watching. From what I can tell a number of writers and movie directors enjoyed it to, and tried to do something with it. Unfortunately, the movie strayed too far from the point, turning Dahlia Gillespie into a sympathetic character, you know, the woman who physically and mentally abused her young daughter and eventually torched their house with her inside it? Yeah, real sympathetic, but I digress. The comic books didn¿t do so well either, especially Dead/Alive, or at least not to someone like me. After that I had little hope in the future of Silent hill as a decent comic, but with a helpful tip from another internet reviewer (Yes, I¿m talking about Linkara), I learned of Sinner¿s reward, and I was thrilled. I tracked it down and when I read it, I was dumbfounded with utter disbelief. A decent, no, a really good Silent hill comic? Impossible! But thankfully, I was wrong. This is one of three great Silent hill comic books that I know of that exist. I desperately believe with all my heart that this is a comic that deserves the title of Silent hill, and I hope you do too. This book has inspired (probably inappropriate word use, but I¿ll let it slide) and motivated me to step up my game in protecting the people around me without a voice even more than it had before. It speaks to me, telling me that not only are people suffering because of other people¿s immoral actions but they are also suffering from mine as well. Strange how someone could learn a good lesson from a gruesome book such as Sinner¿s reward #1 isn¿t it?
