Meet the Author

I was born in the Pacific Northwest and have lived here all my life. After 36 years of wandering aimlessly I decided that what I really want to do is write. While writing has become my passion, putting food on my family's table is a must so
I have returned to school to chase a degree in business. At my age it is better to seek a desk job than to continue with the labor that I was accustomed to. I juggle writing, school, and raising my six year old boy. Eventually I hope to become a full time writer, but dreams don't pay the bills.
I cut my teeth in the zombie genre, so to speak. I have found that most zombie stories are really just stories about people. I plan to branch out a little eventually, work my way into some mainstream horror, but zombies are close to my heart, if not my brain.

    Really good

    >>Very entertaining! Another exciting tale by this author. The characters are likeable and unusual. Interestingly enough; Decoteau does not rely on having his survivors armed to the teeth with pages of descriptions of various cool guns spewing hundreds of bullets held in the muscled arms of deep voiced heros! These characters are average 'Joes' doing what they can. You feel for them. The humor is also something that makes his books stand out. I will be following this series. My only complaint would be that I wish these books were a little longer, at 200 pages it is a quick read- but I want more!

    Quirky and Entertaining

Revenge of the Nerds meets Dawn of the Dead. Eugen and Amir are the most unlikely of heroes, but by the end you are on the edge of your seat, cheering them on. Another great zombie story from a true master in the genre.
