This was a "wow" book. Could not believe the extent some people would go to cover up. Yes, this was the "almighty" Jerry Sandusky, but the pedestal underneath him crumbled and he is finally where he should be. I would say that his wife had to know what was going on, because it went on for so long underneath her roof. But you can always play deaf and dumb and hope it will all go away. Once a pedophile always a pedophile. My heart goes out to the victims, what they had to endure to finally bring justice. I watched the drama play out on TV and Sandusky always had a smirky smile on his face except when he was finally being led in schackles to his final
destination. I think thats when it finally sank in, I got caught.

Aaron Fisher is a brave young man. Shame on the mandatory reporters who didn't do their job. For some reason this is happening to children more and more today. Sandusky is a demented pedophile who still believes he did nothing wrong! I wish all of these young men success and peace in their lives. They deserve a medal for putting that disgusting man in prison. While these books can be hard to read we need to be aware of the grooming techniques pedophiles use to damage our children and grandchildren. Read this book you'll never forget it.

I am relieved to know that Sandusky will never see the light if day again That he will live out his days behind bars I did want to know more about the cover up by Penn State and I do believe Paterno went to his grave knowing that for years they were harboring a pedofile

How dare Sandusky take poor, helpless Aaron, not knowing how incredibly wrong it was that Sandusky abused him, and commit sex abuse? It makes me so angry anyone would ever put their hands on that child unless they had the right. I am glad to know Sandusky will live out the rest of his days behind bars. Click "yes" if you agree.

Aaron was so brave. It makes me sick to my stomach to know there was so much covered over, just to protect that school. My nephew attended that school and graduated from there in 2006. Sad, so very sad. Great book. Aaron saved a lot of young men. Shame on Penn State. UNBELIVEABLE Story.

THIS IS A FANTASTIC BOOK BECAUSE IT SHOWS THE SIDE OF ABUSE WHICH HAS BEEN HIDDEN FOR YEARS IN SOCIETY. AS A VICTIM OF CHILDHOOD ABUSE I SALUTE AAROn FOR COMING FORWARDN AND WISH I HAD HAD THE COURAGE TO COME FORDWARD WHEN I WAS A VICTIM.. I AM 74 YEARS OLD AND IN THE PAST YEAR ADMITTED TO A THERAPIST AND MY WIFE WHAT HAPPENED TO ME SO MANY YEARS AGO. wHAT A GREAT RELIEF TO TALK ABOUT THE SHAME I FELT BECAUSE OF SOMETHING WHICH WAS NOT MT FAULT.AARON FISHER WHAT A GREAT SERVICCE YOU HAVE DONE FOR MANKIND WITH THIS BOOK.
MAY THE WHOMEVER BLESS YOU.

The book was very moving Aaron does NOT want sympathy, he wants people to understand what happened to him,& that the system needs to change. It is so sad that his story was NOT enough to persue the case against Jerry Sandusky How many boys would NOT have been hurt, if Aaron's complaint had been checked out. I hate the thought that children are molested because the men are important & therefore the young kids are NOT believed, because the men that harm them are well connected in the community
I hope that this book will wake up & change the laws so kids are believed & we stop protecting the Jerry Sanduskys

When I saw Sandusky on T.V., I thought he was weird. Thank goodness for brave young men like Aaron for bringing him down.
A well written, interesting, true story, book that can break your heart when reading all the obtacles that young Aaron was up against. Thank you, Victim #1, for bringing a monster down and saving others

Someone asked why more and more children are abused today. Consider that the AVERAGE pedophile will molest 63, yes SIXTY-THREE children before being caught. And like jerry here, will prey on children deemed at risk, meaning they are less likely to tell an adult, sometimes because the abuser is the most stable adult in the child's life. Additionally, MANY, MANY, MANY children who are abused go onto repeat what was done to them. It's a cliche, but hurt people, hurt people. (In NO WAY do I mean to insinuate that the author of this book has or would hurt or abuse another child in ANY way. In fact, by coming forward, realizing HE was the victim and finding a healthy outlet by simply telling the truth it's so very doubtful he would reenact the horrors he experienced. BUT, Statistics show nearly 100% of people who abuse were abused themselves. Many blessings to this young man; for his courage and I pray he heals through telling his story.

Overview
Aaron Fisher was an eager and spirited eleven-year-old when legendary Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky recruited him into his Second Mile children’s charity. Offering support at a critical time in Aaron’s life, Sandusky gave him gifts and attention, winning the boy’s trust even as he isolated him ...
