Author Biography: Annette Gisby's writing began with short stories to her friends as a child. She grew up in Ireland, moving to London at seventeen, where she met her future husband. Gaining her English 'O' level a year early, she ws encouraged in her writing by her then English teacher, Mrs. Cosgrove. Having had articles published in newspapers, she realised what she really wanted to do was tell stories, use her imagination more in her writing. Hence was born "Silent Screams."
