Come join Sam, a fun loving and curious salmon, as he is born in the beautiful but trying Callahan River (nicknamed Silly Stream!). Join him as he embarks on his first journey upstream, unaware of the countless adventures or dangers that lie ahead. This means that you will be joining me, aspiring author Sean McLaughlin, on the first book of an incredible journey that will hopefully not just be adventurous but also inspiring to its readers and listeners everywhere. I hope this to be just the beginning of an incredibly fun series that could educate as well as entertain. As a normal guy from a small town with a big imagination, I hope to make Sam a household character that has elements of not just my thoughts, but of facts as well. I would like the facts to include the wonderful journey that this incredible creature, the salmon, takes on its way upstream not just to survive, but to thrive. Hi, my name is Sean McLaughlin and I am an aspiring author that writes children's books; and I would like to write adult books one day as well. I was born in Fontana, CA but I currently live in Memphis, TN. I am just a normal guy with a big imagination. My love for watching nature is what inspired me to bring it to life in cartoon form here in my first two books.
