Editorial Reviews

Children's Literature - Marilyn Courtot
Mr. Bunny calls Silly Tilly "Mole" and asks if she know what day it is. Tilly can't remember anything, including that it is Valentine's Day. She sees the snow outside and she decides that a little fresh air might jog her memory. It is one mishap after another, but with a happy ending that includes cupcakes and valentines for Mr. Bunny and for Tilly's other friends. It's a silly story that will appeal to children just beginning to read on their own. An "I Can Read Book," level 1.
School Library Journal
K-Gr 2Tilly the mole is back for her third adventure in this beginning reader. Here, she is so excited about snow falling that she forgets all about Valentine's Day. Mr. Bunny hints that there is something in her mailbox, but when she checks it out, her glasses are so covered with snow that she doesn't see the valentines sticking out. Mr. Bunny finally comes back to visit Tilly and wipes her glasses off so she can find her holiday cards. Hoban's simple text and trademark illustrations make this story a fine addition for easy-reader collections. Fans of Hoban's Arthur the chimp, and of Frances the badger, will enjoy Tilly's escapades.Lisa Gangemi Krapp, Sousa Elementary School, Port Washington, NY

    Great for kids

I didn't purchase for myself or my kid, I purchased it because a long time friend of mine has a new daugher and named her Tilly. My sister in law is a school teacher and recommended me getting these books for her, so I did. The parents of Tilly adores these books. :)
