I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good paranormal romance.

A matchmaker and a scarred Ghost Hunter find that love comes at the most unlikely of times.
Celinda is used to others uneasiness about her gift so she mostly keeps it a secret, but when she meets David who has an unusual power of his own they find an attraction to each other hard to resist.
Celinda is beautiful woman both inside and out and I was so happy that she found someone like David who understands and cares for her just as she does for him. Both of these characters keep their gifts a secret for fear of being rejected and being able to go along on their journey to protect the precious object and see how their love unfolds was such a delight.
I highly recommend this book to anyone who loves a good paranormal romance.

    I Also Recommend:

    Wonderful Read

I love the intro of Celinda and her dust bunny, the food bandit. And how ironic that the bunny leads her to a very interesting man in Davis Oaks. We get to see some old characters back, like Martinez, who I'm amused is starting to hate seeing a dust bunny because that means she's going to have a tough case. She had no idea. Theft, murder, kidnapping, blackmail, guild business, romance, humor, family, danger and twists. And some awesome one liners like, "My frist date in 4 months and I'm going to be mugged." Haha. This one falls right in line with the other great books in the series. Davis is strong, but has this sweet vulnerablitiy and Celinda seems to know just what he needs, their abilities almost calling to and playing off each other. And what intereting talents that crop up in this one. New psi, new weapons, silver light, manipulators and a Dopp talent. Was thrilled to see the old gang back, the Londons and the Mercers. And learning a lot about dust bunnies I never would've guessed. *grin* I couldn't put it down, wonderful read.

    A reviewer

Silver Master continues the exotic feel, genuinely humorous tone and sensuality that is the hallmark of all JAK novels, whether published under her own name or her Jayne Castle pseudonym. Davis' rare ability to mask his presence is fascinating, especially when Celinda's ability to sense and manipulate psi waves is instrumental in preventing the predictable coma state after he's melted amber. Celinda's spunk, Davis' sensual restraint and their irresistibly communicative dust bunnies enliven a story line that's well worth reading and re-reading. Since the inception of Jayne Castle's Harmony-based series, I've eagerly awaited each new entry. Each and every book of this fascinating series has a treasured place on my 'keeper' shelf. I heartily recommend you give yourself a treat with Silver Master.

    fun lighthearted investigative romantic romp

On Harmony two centuries since the Curtain closed in Jackson¿s Old World Finds, her dust bunny Araminta persuades Celinda Ingram to buy the odd looking red plastic. However, not long after she makes her purchase, Oakes Security specialist Davis Oakes and Cadence City Police Detective Alice Martinez question the Promises, Inc. matchmaker after he found the murdered corpse of thief Alvis Shaw whose body was in the alley outside of Jackson¿s Old World Finds. Davis also insists that the item Celinda bought yesterday ay Jackson¿s was stolen from his client Mercer Wyatt boss of the Cadence Guild. He demands she return it to him. --- Celinda wants nothing to do with Cadence Guild having only bad memories of her dealings with them. Hence she wants to give the relic to Davis so that the Guild stays out of her life the only problem is Araminta has vanished taking the object with her. Davis sends his dust bunny in pursuit. Meanwhile an unknown adversary tries to kill the matchmaker and the investigator as this foe wants possession of the artifact. Fans of the amusing Harmony fantasy romances will enjoy the return to Jayne Castle¿s creative world in what is more of a detective tale this time. The story line is fast-paced as a reluctant Celinda and a gung ho Davis follow the dust bunny trail while eluding a killer. Celinda makes the tale with her first rule of never get involved with Guild business even when they owe you they invariably pay off by hurting you that is if they don¿t kill you. Ms. Castle provides a fun lighthearted investigative romantic romp. --- Harriet Klausner
