    An Inspiring Reminder

Struggles, triumphs, regrets and reminiscing compose this compelling story of one man. In his younger years Simon faced the pain of lost love, the peace of solitude and the pride that comes with a successful career. Now, as he grows older, his life is at a turning point. Will he settle into the monotonous life that characterizes the Norman Home, or will he search for more as he grows older? Friends who guide him along his journey of reminiscence and decisions flavor Simon's story. I am touched by the candid truth with which Simon shares his story. We know his emotions, his fears and his confusion. Among these overwhelming feelings we come to know his persevering nature, a nature that inspires all of us. I hope that as I grow older I can be like Simon; learning that life cannot be lived in fear, and knowing that love is a commitment. I would recommend this book to anyone who wishes to be inspired by one man's triumphant story. At a time when the term 'elderly' is too often associated with frailty, this book is a reassuring look into the life of a man who has chosen to get the most out of every minute.
