I have started a Grandmother box, and the patterns in this book were easy to follow, a delight to make! From the booties to the outfit and the blanket to wrap them in, it was pure enjoyment.

The patterns in this book manage to be both classic and contemporary. I love the soft colors and gorgeous, yet simple, designs of the finished products; you definitely won't find anything garish here. These are some of the most beautiful patterns I've seen for baby clothes, including two dress patterns, which are surprisingly hard to find. The instructions are very easy to follow.

The directions weren't always as clear/detailed as I'd like, they did assume prior knowledge that may not always be there, but I was still able to produce an adorable sweater for my soon-to-be born son. Also, the designs are ones you would actually put on a baby, which can't be said about some I've seen before.

This book was awful. The patterns are adorable, but they just don't work out. She gives the most confusing directions ever for simple things like making a treble crochet cluster. She also leaves out steps (unless there's supposed to be a gaping hole in the heel of the 'puppy footed pajamas'?) and the diagrams are all wrong. For example, also in the puppy footed pajamas, the diagram shows that the sleeve should taper. The directions say to chain 26, then work even (26 st) for 17 rows. How does something worked even with 26 st taper?? It doesn't! It's a rectangle. Great pictures. Cute outfits. Abysmal patterns that are difficult to follow and were apparently never edited. Don't buy it.

I am not new to crocheting by any means, but I'm finding the patterns in this book to be difficult to follow. The measurements for the pink baby sweater (as seen on the cover) are not correct. I tried to make up my own measurements to make the patterns work and so far it is not working. The outfits in this book are unique and adorable and I want to make them but so far it's been mission impossible.

I have been looking for just the perfect little booties, and this book has several! I have already made several of the patterns and can't wait to make the Rascal Hat. Too cute!

So far I've only made one of the patterns, but I've checked this book out from the library so many times, I decided it would be easier to just buy it. I'm giving away the one I've done, but want to do others just to have a supply in case I need an emergency gift. These are future heirlooms.

Every pattern in this book is one that I would make for my own little ones or my friends'. She uses natural yarn fibers, and the patterns are beautiful. I especially loved the acorn hat. It has become one of my popular baby gifts. The instructions are simple and the photos are cute enough to look at just for fun. If you crochet for babies, this book is a must have!
