Excellent book to bring our hectic life into perspective. I got my entire family a copy. A must read.

I bought this book for my son upon his graduation from middle school. We read it together - section by section - paragraph by paragraph. I needed to speak to him about some important issues as he enters into what will be some of his most challenging years. Having him read 'The Prophet' is my goal, and I saw 'Simple Truths' as being a wonderful introduction to further exploration of what it means to guide your life on the right track.

I was a little disappointed in this book. It had some good points, but I could sum it up in a handful of quotes I've read before.

Kent 'Simple truths' is excellent. The chapter on 'On Elders' help me better to understand my older husband and what he is going though. I learn something to help me be more understanding.

This book is my Bible. Plain and simple. You won't know what I mean until you read it.

Overview
Seldom does a book come along that speaks to the core issues in life with the clarity and wisdom of "Simple Truths." This profound book is deeply informed by the spiritual traditions of the West, the Far East, and the Native Americans with whom the author has worked. It is a small treasure of wisdom about life's deepest issues.
