Being happy is simple -- READ THIS BOOK

Nobody has all the answers, especially not in today's too-complicated world. But that's the point. If a person wants to be happy with themselves - and others - life choices need to be simple.

    And sincere.

Brimming with shoot-from-the-hip common sense, Patrice Lewis's Simplicity Primer is just that. Convinction and a good dose of humor underscore each of her 365 essays, making this book not only a help to the soul, but a joy to read. For all ages.

You really want to reduce your carbon foot print? Read this book.

Whether you are planning on dropping off the grid or dropping off the kids at school, this book is a great start simplifying your life. It has tips on how to be green; not the fake "look at how green I am" that has become popular in recent years, but truly green by reducing you consumption. It also provides you ideas on how to de-clutter your life, whether it be actual junk (re-use it) or those that are draggin' you down (toss it out). What I found most helpful was the ideas that it tripped in my mind. Some of her ideas and examples were great and some not useable for a suburbanite like my family. But it still triggered other ideas.

BTW: I'd be willing to bet that folks like Patrice Lewis and her family have a smaller carbon footprint than 95% of the so-greenies out there. This could be chalked up to living simply. We should all be so lucky.

    Loved reading this book

A well written book on how to keep your life simple - by making good choices. No new-age meditation and wheat grass advice, just good *simple* advice on how to live an uncomplicated life.

    Fabulous book

This book is a must-have for every household! It's practical, witty in some places, and has lots of food for thought. There are so many good ideas in there. A person may not agree with all of them but I guarentee that you will still come away with many, many gold nuggets.

    Absolutely awesome!

I purchased this book as soon as it was available. I read it cover to cover in less than a week. My single daughter has it now and she is loving it. I can't wait to pass it on to my married daughter. This book puts everything into perspective. I think Patrice and I were sisters from different mothers. Much of her advice is the same as I have said for years.
