Overview

Simplified Facial Rejuvenation is divided into sections that include anatomy and anesthesia, classifications, dermatologic procedures, suture lifts, surgical variations of the face, surgical variations of the eyes, brow, neck, lips, nose ear, and scalp, and medical legal aspects. The book presents multiple variations of suture lift procedures to allow the physician to decide which is best. Unique surgical procedures of the face are presented, many of which are techniques of minimal incision facelift. The book brings together the more popular procedures for patients that include simpler methods of facial rejuvenation with less pain, shorter recovery time, lower cost, and fewer complications.

Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher
Aus den Rezensionen:

… Es kann ohne Einschränkung empfohlen werden." (Luitgard Wiest, in: JDDG - Journal der Deutschen Dermatologischen Gesellschaft, 2008, Vol. 6, Issue 5, S. 420)

Watch out for excerpts by Dr. Samuel Lam

He is a liar and he pays companies such as Medical Justice to have every single negative reviews removed from the internet and hidden from the public which is a disgrace to the medical field. He has botched so many surgeries such as hair restoration, fat grafts, rhinoplasties which left a patient with permanent breathing problems, fillers, but oh no he will never tell you about those! His internet Youtube and videos posted on lamfacialplastics.com are great and convincing which is why I ended up in his office in the first place. That turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life and he is only an unethical doctor who does not take responsibility for what he does unless it turns out well. Avoid this man's office at all costs, he sounds knowledgeable on the internet but when things go wrong you'll know what a fool he really is and he blames you for having unrealistic expectations when he is the one who promised you would turn out "beautiful" which is a lie!!! Ask him about his unsuccessful surgeries before you have anything done! Dr. Samuel Lam has terrible surgical skills but he has that television personality (without the good looks to be on TV) that can really be misleading by his very very convincing videos which I fell for.

Dr. Lam's sections MUTILATED/BUTCHERED my face

I am a former patient of Dr. Samuel Lam in Plano, TX, I strongly urge all medical doctors to read the books of Dr. Samuel Lam with EXTREME caution. Dr. Samuel Lam is inexperienced, he left me with permanent damage and a grotesque looking face and I can not believe what he has done to me. He writes about "blending", "facial harmony," "balance," "transitions,"----HE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT THIS. He likes to write, but he doesn't really know how to put theory into practice. In order for a surgeon to perfect his skills he must practice, but this man is extremely inexperienced and left me with a permanently mutilated face. I have to see other plastic surgeons to fix what this man has done and as the reader, there is a good possibility you know more about the material than this man who spends more time posting up videos all over the web and writing on his numerous blogs and forums instead of spending time in the surgery room practicing his techniques. If you are a doctor, please don't be like Dr. Samuel Lam. This man forever changed my life and he needs to be ashamed of himself for what he has done to me. Don't forget, this book conforms to Dr. Lam's aesthetic tastes who is fairly new in this business and will not match other plastic surgeons. I'm going through great pain on a a daily basis for what this man has done to my face. He calls these unconventional methods art but this is facial mutilation. Once you go through with this procedure, you may never go back and you will have to live through a lifetime a revision cosmetic procedures. Dr. Lam, you are not artist, you are a MUTILATOR and how dare you lie to the public. Please God just give me my old face back!
