Meet the Author

Kate Pearce was born into a large family of girls in England, and spent much of her childhood living very happily in a dream world. Despite being told that she really needed to 'get with the program', she graduated from the University College of Wales with an honors degree in history.

A move to the USA finally allowed her to fulfill her dreams and sit down and write that novel. Along with being a voracious reader, Kate loves trail riding with her family, 'western style' in the regional parks of Northern California. Kate is a member of RWA and is published by NAL, Kensington Aphrodisia, Ellora's Cave, Cleis Press and Virgin Black Lace/Cheek.

We are finally invited into the private world/hell of Lord Minshom! This is one character I developed a curiosity for while reading the other "Simply" books. The idea of redeeming Minshom seemed impossible to me but Kate Pearce comes close by exposing Minshoms childhood and his experiences in the Little Gentlemen's Club. The connection with the Little Gentlemen's Club ties together many of the characters from the other books in the series. This book is erotic, dark and hot....umm..HOT! If you are not into erotica this is NOT the book for you but if you are you should read the Simply series. The characters are rich and not so one dimensional as I have discovered with many books of this genre! A MUST HAVE!!! I loved it!!

Maybe I so dislike Lord Minshom from Simply Wicked that I just couldn't get into this book. His transformation seemed too fast to be real and the scene with his father rang so false. Why in the world did Jane fall in love to begin with? This guy was too messed up to be my cup of tea and I don't believe someone like that is quite so easily fixable.

I read this book and I like erotic romance, but this got a bit depraved for even me. However the story was so good, the plot was awesome.
