I have never read Jill Shalvis books. From the start I could not put this book down, great and funny and lots of heat. Reminds me of Nora Roberts with a little extra in there.

Romantic light read. Likeable characters and enough tension to hold interest. Excessive sex.

This book is truly a keeper. It made me laugh (a lot) and made me cry. Jill Shalvis is a wonderful storyteller and I highly recommend adding this to your bookshelf.

This book is filled with obscene language and pornograhic images! Not my idea of great literature . I removed it from my library without reading much of it.

She's a very likable character who is easy to relate to. I love the relationship between Maddie and her sister, it reminded me of my relationship with my sister. A very fun, breezy read.

This is the first time reading this author's work. Thought the book was well done with a fun, interesting story. In fact, I had a hard time putting it down. Have already purchased a few more in the series and can't wait to read them. E

This is the first time reading this author and i loved her. I laughed until i cried at some of Maddie's uncomfortable moments. The only reason i did not give it 5 stars is because there were really to many sex scenes in the book. They tastefully written but just a few to many. Can not wait to read more of this author.

So don't read the long reviews, but Ms. Klausners review didn't ruin the book. But good grief anyone should be able to figure out that a long review is going to tell more than a short one!

And more than worth the money. I've never read the author before, but that changes starting now. What could have been a trite and formulaic theme actually came out as a decently rounded set of female characters. Characters who weren't sugary, but had hearts with more than a few bruises. The male characters had less depth, but their cameraderie actually had me laughing aloud---something I rarely do. Just enough heat to keep it interesting, without the trash vernacular that can be so off-putting. I like the way she balances between silly & serious, loving & lusting, fearing & trusting.
Pardon me while i go find her next book. And I hope you enjoy this one.

Dear Harriet Klausner...I do not want to know everything that happens in the book!!!You destroyed the book for me. Why would I want to read it now?? Just tell me if you liked it, if its worth reading, did it make you happy that you read it, was it time well spent...those are the things you are supposed to tell us. If you cant do that then DONT REVIEW..

I picked up this series because a) it was on sale and b) another favorite author (Kristan Higgins) always talks about Jill Shalvis on her Facebook page, so I decided to give it a try. What a payoff! Hilarious, heart-warming, characters you'd want to hang out with. Great romance novel(s). Strongly encourage you to read them in order, though. More fun that way!

I absolutely loved the Jill Shalvis Lucky Harbor Series and her other books that I have read. Hopefully she will have another out soon and will continue with the journey in each of these people's lives. Thanks you for a breath of fresh air Ms. Shalvis.

I was looking for a good series and tried this book since it was only .99 cents.
The storyline is interesting but the author never convinces me to care about these characters. Somewhat boring and the sex scenes were just not interesting.
Maybe the books get more interesting because this writer is supposedly a bestselling author.
