I am so good that Simply knitting was put into a emag now I don't have to wait a month behind to read it. This magazine is really good with good tips for all levels and skills of knitters. Once you start to read you will want to subscribe to it.

A lot of info and easy to do patterns as I'm a beginner knitter. Just everything is located in the UK. Worth the money..

This magazine is full of a huge variety of patters and projects for knitters. Although everything is printed for European knitters, they include information for US conversions. Also, they print up monthly instead of quarterly like most US magazines.

The nook version of this magazine has very few photos. One pattern in the issue I just bought didn't even have all of the instructions - no sizing information. The Nook version didn't have any of the ads, which is both good and bad. I don't mind a streamlined version, but many of the photos in the patterns are what we want the magazine for! They explain a lot. I'd rather see a PDF version.

You can't see what is in there to see if you want it or not. It is just sitting there locked up.

I bought this for my nook. I did not realize that this was a UK publication. My inexperience coupled with the format made this confusing. This might be a good fit for someone who is a skilled knitter. It did not work for me.

If all you're looking for in a knitting magazine are ads and product spiels with very few actual patterns (and those are hard to find), then this magazine is for you! But if you buy a knitting magazine expecting lots of good to great knitting patterns, don't waste your time or money! Instead, buy a subscription to Creative Knitting or Your Knitting Life or both!
