Sinatra 80th: Live in Concert

Culled from a number of different live performances recorded during the '80s as well as an awkward outtake from the Duets sessions: a version of "My Way" recorded with Luciano Pavarotti, Sinatra 80th Live is a surprisingly moving document of Frank Sinatra in the final stages of his career. By the time this material was recorded, Sinatra's voice had eroded somewhat, as his range had decreased and his voice had become reedier. Good for Sinatra Fans.

This is more of a nostalgic compilation of songs. Remember he was 80 years old when this was recorded. Overall not bad!

    A reviewer

He's eighty-years-old when this was recorded. His voice is no where near what it was in the past. He can't hold notes and his voice breaks in this live concert. Listen to a sample of "What Now, My Love" and hear his voice break on the word "see." I love Sinatra, so it's dissapointing that they would even release a live concert of his at age eighty. Play all the samples here. Then play all the samples on "Sinatra at the Sands," which was recorded in 1966, and you'll hear a big difference in his voice.
