    Metabolic Cardiology changed my life

Diagnosed with coronary artery disease after going off of statins, I was worried about my health and how to make a good outcome. The Sinatra Solution of Metabolic Cardiology provided a better way to approach arterial health, and did so in a convincing, authoritative, and confident manner. This book taught me more about cellular chemistry than I ever thought I wanted to know, but did so in a manner that made it easy to grasp. That understanding is the key to knowing why the metabolic nutrients recommended are so important and what they accomplish for cardiac health. Furthermore, Dr. Sinatra makes it clear that by addressing the nutritional needs of cells in the heart and arteries, there are many side benefits because all other cells in the body work the same way and also benefit from the better nutritional environment. The recommendations of dosages of nutrients for various cardiac and artery conditions, based on his own practice as a Cardiologist and Master Nutritionist, are extremely helpful.

Since reading this book a year ago I have put into practice, with the help of my local alternative physician, most of Dr. Sinatra's recommendations, including a change to a much more healthy diet. The net result is that my cholesterol is now 185, down from 257 prior to going on statins 3 years ago. And other, more important, markers are similarly improved.

I am buying copies of this book for anyone in my family who expresses an interest, since we now have a clear indication that coronary artery disease runs in our family. Dr. Sinatra's unique and insightful recommendations are very relevant for cardiac problems, and it is information that you won't likely find from your local physician or cardiologist. It is compelling, and I thank Dr. Sinatra for it.

    Sinatra solution

I thought the book was very informative and helpful for understanding how metabolic processes work and how they affect your heart and health in the long run. Information can be used immediately. The book opens up a window so that the patient is back in the drivers seat and may talk educatedly to the Dr. providing care in heart related issues. It is helpful to understand biology and or physiology.

Basics of Health and Nutrition for Heart Issues-SO AWESOME!

Our country has too many doctors who are too willing to write a truckload of prescriptions to TRY to interrupt the disease process. Dr. Sinatra, with his immense amount of cardiac knowledge and overall wisdom of supporting the body's processes explains the metabolic process and deficiency VERY clearly in this book. We've recommended it to everyone we know, and are using the supplements in our family, to avoid the modern issue of perpetual doctor's appointments and pharmaceuticals. This book has helped us understand some basics of how our bodies work...and heal! :)
