Pretty-boy David Jarconni, born into a privileged home with a silver spoon in his mouth, was expected to succeed his father in running the family business. David, however, chose another path. An excitement and danger junkie, David loved the rules of the streets and the excitement of living near the edge. Consequences

David is a handsome man born into a wealthy family. He has elected to squander his fortune, live very meagerly and only go around his family at the request of his mother, Nicole, or in the hopes of getting money and/or food. David and his father, Lewis, are not close. Lewis gave his son everything, yet David continued to screw up.

When David meets Danielle, a beautiful model that works for Jarconni International, his family’s company, he is smitten. In an attempt to keep her, he hides the truth about himself. When David gets into serious trouble, his father refuses to bail him out. David’s only recourse is to put his past behind him and join the family business. He does, and Danielle is none the wiser about her prince. Unfortunately, Carol, David’s sister, has been working hard trying to get the company. Now that King David has shown some interest, Carol has to get some insurance that her work isn’t in vain.

If the deck wasn’t already stacked against David, someone in Danielle’s life is privy to David and his wicked ways. When David decides that he no longer wants to share the family profits with his sister Carol, he contacts a past associate. Will bygones be bygones, or has David poked the bear?

SINFUL LIAISONS by JC Gardner had the potential to be spellbinding. Sadly, the book is long and tiring. While it’s clear that David Jarconni is the circumference, readers are introduced to Jumbo and Angela. In their stories, you get the past tense version of David. While I was able to follow along and was engaged for the most part, a lot of it was just too many unnecessary details. Yet, I still have a lot of unanswered questions.

I picked SINFUL LIAISONS because it was billed as being a pot of lies and deceit. I only felt half full, as there were too many unlikely scenarios.

    Great Novel - Highly Recommend

I thoroughly enjoyed JC gardner's book from beginning to end. It is well written with a variety of characters - some likeable - some not. However, one you begin reading you will not want to put the book down. Thank you Ms. Gardner for a great read and hopefully there will be more in the future.

What a roller coaster ride..... Sinful Liaisons is thought provoking, realistic, sizzling, eye popping and some "oh no they didn't moments". You will not want to put it down! The core characters are carefully crafted and well developed from start to finish. I can't wait for the sequel!!

    A Must Read

This is a stunning debut by JCG. Fasten your seatbelts, and prepare for a tremendous roller coaster ride that will render you breathless. I went through all kinds of emotions reading. This gripping novel is chock full of surprises, such that Just when you think you've turned the corner and are beginning to breathe - Bang here comes another explosion. This story introduces the reader to a very well developed cast of characters that will be remembered long after the final page. You will feel sorry for some, loathe others and yes, fall in love as well. A must read, and again a STUNNING debut. This novel lends itself to a sequel, which I hope will be forthcoming. Kudos Ms. Gardner.

"Sinful Liaisons" keeps you on your toes!

Wow, I found "Sinful Liaison" by JC Gardner hard to put down. As I read it I thought this writer has taken the world into a 21st century version of the way Sidney Sheldon entertained millions for years through his books. "Sinful Liaison" was a fast read centered on David Jarconni and others driven by greed, sex, murder, desperation, jealousy and family secrets. David Jarconni is a spoiled rich kid and he never cared much about anyone, then Danielle enters his life, the possibility of a prison sentence and no financial help from his parents shakes him up. He acquiesced to his parents; however, old habits are hard to break and forgiveness is not one of David's strong suits, and that's putting it mildly, there are a lot of twist and turns in this book. I thought I had it figured out but each turn was a new turn. The language is vivid and descriptive and as I read "Sinful Liaisons" I easily envisioned its' characters. The storyline takes you on an emotional roller coaster ride, I felt like applauding some characters and wishing others would disappear. The book is full of wicked liaisons, so the title is appropriate. Overall "Sinful Liaison" by JC Gardner is masterfully written and powerful I would recommend it to a friend.

I highly recommend that you check this book out

It is easy reading and has a flow about it. Your curiosity is constantly peaked and you are always wondering what is going to happen next? All the characters seem like everyday people you'd know. Their descriptions are so vivid you can almost see and hear them. There are real juicy sounding love scenes. No wonder there's a burning Hot pepper on the cover..... LOL

    Lots of Surprises too!!!!!!
