BDSM Never looked so good !!!!

"Jonathan," I whispered, his name a white flag of surrender… Was there anyone before you?"
"You might have thought so at the time.
I feel like no one's ever loved me before.
I'm sure they did their best, but you always belonged to me.”
    C.D. Reiss "Resist"

"Tomorrow I'm going to destroy you. I'm going to mark your body and ruin your mind. By noon, you won't know whether to laugh or cry. But tonight ? Tonight, I will revere you. I will build an alter of myself. I will frame you in the stars." C.D. Reiss "Sing"

5 Stars for "Resist" and "Sing" I am undone, wrecked. I am already missing Jonathan Drazen, my daily fix of hot, dominant, arrogant, self-assured, alpha male!!! I read both books last night, I needed to sleep on them before writing my review, I woke up several times because I dreamt that Jonathan, was touching me, whispering in my ear, doing all sorts of delicious things to me, {sighs} oh baby. I loved it! C.D. Reiss knows how to write erotica! "Resist" and "Sing" are erotically stimulating and sexually arousing. I felt so many emotions while reading Jonathan and Monica's story, I laughed, cried, I was anxious, I was desirous. I need to read this series again one day, all seven books, a bottle wine and lots of batteries! "Sing" the final book in the series, was the most emotional. C.D. Reiss wraps it all up in a beautiful, heart wrenching story that is anything but predictable. I read it with a box of tissues and lots of chocolate on my night stand.
"Sing" picks up where "Resist" leaves off, the mother of all cliff hangers finds Jonathan and Monica facing a life and death battle. There entire lives together hang in the balance.. Their roles are reversed in most of "Sing" While Monica has always been strong and independent in her life, she had surrendered and accepted her need and desire to be submissive to Jonathan's dominant self. While Jonathan wanted her to be submissive in their sexual relationship, he also wanted her to be strong, confident and successful in her music career. When fate throws them a serious curve ball, Monica has to be strong enough for the both of them. She fights for her man.. when Jonathan needs to feel he is still her Kings she manages to give him that while letting him keep his dignity. Monica has her finest hour in "Sing" She is strong, intelligent, devoted to Jonathan, a "ride or die " Chick ready to do what it takes for her Man. In "Sing" Jonathans secrets are revealed. We get a deeper look at his relationship with his father and Jessica finally get's her just desserts. Monica starts to mend her relationship with her mom and make decisions could impact her singing career. All questions are answered, and life comes full circle !!! C.D. Reiss gave us a perfect ending to the series.

"Songs Of Submission" is one of the best BDSM / EROTICA series I have read. It was the perfect balance of hot, steamy sex, character development and an emotional, unpredictable, lush storyline that was gratifying to senses. I have a few series that feel like old friends to me, I read them often, "Songs of Submission" is a new friend, I will be reading this series again and again.

I hope you read the Series "Songs Of Submission" Beg" "Tease" "Submit" "Control" "Burn" "Resist" and "Sing"
    by C.D. Reiss

    more from this reviewer

I am going to keep my review short or else I fear I may give awa

I am going to keep my review short or else I fear I may give away too much. When Resist ended, Jonathan had just collapsed. The story picks up after that point with Jonathan still in the hospital. Let's just say his attempt at suicide as a teenager did some serious damage to his heart. All we can do is wait to see if he can get better. I honestly did not know how it was all going to play out, which kept me on edge the entire time I was reading. Sing is such an emotional finish to this series. I spent most of this book terrified, broken and sobbing and I even had to take a few breaks to gather myself. It was not at all what I expected. It was agonizing and brilliant.

Now that Songs of Submission is over, I literally don't know what to do with myself. This series is hands down my all time favorite and is an absolute must read for any fans of erotica.

I know we are all distraught now that Jonathan's and Monica's story has come to an end and I know I am going to miss Mr. Drazen tremendously. I can only hope that he makes a few appearances in the next series! Lucky for us, CD Reiss will be working on a spin-off series about Jonathan's sister Theresa Drazen and I am definitely looking forward to that. The first book in the new Songs Of Corruption series, Spin, is due to release February 26, 2014.

Not much more to say than this is a fantastic series. As soon as I finish one I have to have the next. Now that Monica and Jonathan's story is wrapped up I will be moving on to the sisters stories. Hope to have more Monica and Jonathan along the way. Looking forward to learning more about the sisters as we only got a small glimpse of each of them through the Songs of Submission series.

    Wonderful characters!!

I love how Monica has become so strong. As much as Jonathan is the king of her world she has most certainly earned her place as goddess!

This series made my heart "Sing"! What a great conclusion to a solid series.

"That man? He’s not some boyfriend in a line of them. He is my alpha and omega. He is the sky over me. Without him, I’m lost. There’s no one else, no one whose soul balances mine the way his does. I’ve waited my life for him, and when he came, I didn’t recognize him. Not until recently. If I lose him, I swear, as God is my witness, I will be alone. No man can match him."

This series was dripping in sex and not of the vanilla variety. This was more than just sex. when you read between the lines on the page, you can see in to a deep love. One that was built before they ever knew each other, etched in the stars. The series completely sucked me in. I couldn't flip the pages fast enough. It was beautiful, emotional, and feisty as hell. I love, love, loved it.

This book in the Songs of Submission series had me on the edge of my seat. CD Reiss pulls her readers in from the very first page to the very end. She makes you feel every emotion that the characters are going through. I didn't think I'd be able to get to the end of this book. To see the relationship between Jonathan and Monica develop throughout this book was great. The conquered obstacle after obstacle and came out that much strong.

Monica and Jonathan get put to the test but not in the way I ever expected. Monica struggles to find her place with Jonathan's family as they cope with Jonathan's illness. We get the full dynamic of the family, especially his Dad. What would you do to save the man you love? At the same time Monica's Mom resurfaces which just adds another layer of stress on Monica. If they can make it through this they will be able to handle anything put in front of them.

VERY HOT! I hate a series even worse than a trilogy, but love this story. Glad I waited to start it after it was complete or the wait would have been terrible. Can't wait for her next, "Songs of Perdition" (another series, so I will again have to wait until it is finished to start it). At least "Spin" was a stand-alone, and just as HOT as "Songs of Submission".
