I really enjoyed reading Karen and Zach's story. Catherine Bybee does an excellent job of mixing romance with suspense.

This is yet another great addition to the series. This is the completion of Karen's love story and man is it good. You first got introduced to her in book one saw her get married in book three and now you see her find her other half in book four. Michael and his family are major players in this book especially Zach. You get more of Karen's back story and finally find out why she does what she does. This book is by far the best one yet, and I hoping the author keeps them coming

Karen was a client of Alliance before they asked her to become a partner. She still wants to get a contracted marriage of convenience though. So when Gwen said she found her the perfect guy she agrees to meet him and see. He just happens to be a very famous movie star. Karen and Michael have been married for a year now and their time to end their marriage will be soon. As they are celebrating their one year anniversary Michaels brother crashes the party.

Zach had to come to his brothers party. He had to find out what his brothers wife was like and why his brother never introduced her to the family. Michael never told his family his secret. After Zach see's Karen he is hit with an instant attraction and is finding it hard to fight it. Karen talks Michael into them going to his home town to meet and visit with his family. There her and Zach end up alone a lot. But there is something going on with one of the kids in that town and Karen will not rest until she helps her.

What will happen when a scorned ex decides to get revenge?

My opinion: I am so in love with this series. Catherine sucked me in again! I think this one was one of my favorites in the series so far. Karen and Zach's love was a forbidden love. Your not supposed to fall in love with your husbands brother! I think that Karen and Zach were so cute together and the whole Gardner family ended up being great. Even the dad, you have to read it to figure out what that means. The meanings of certain situations just go to show that you should always trust those that you love to still love you no matter what. This book is a wonderful addition to a great series. I read the first 4 books in 3 days as I only put the books down out of necessity. I highly recommend reading. I am eager to read the next book for Judy and Rick's story!

Let's start with my love for Catherine Bybee. There is just something about they way that she rights that I absolutely adore. She captures the beauty and wholesomeness of love.

I love this series so much. We meet Karen throughout the series. She agrees to marry Michael to help protect his career and at the same time she gains a new best friend and she also gets the financial security to help in her quest help the more unfortunate.

Her life is running smoothly and her and Michael have a plan which gets interrupted when his brother Zach crashes a party. He not only crashes their party he also crashes into her heart.

Zach can't figure out why Michael is keeping his new wife away from his family so he plans on figuring out the puzzle by crashing their party but he is left with a new problem when he is instantly drawn to and attracted to Michael's new bride.

Zach is tormented with his new infatuation with Karen and doesn't know what to do. Karen for the first time regrets her choice to be married for convenience when she finally meets someone worth risking her heart.

Karen convinces Michael to go back home to unwind and reconnect with his family. The more time Karen spends with his family the harder she falls for Zach, but Michael's secrets aren't hers to tell. The pull becomes to much and the finally act on their attraction to only have it blow up in everyone's faces risking to blow up her dreams and Michael's career.

Throughout the book you feel the torment of everyone involved while you feel immersed in the growing love between Karen and Zach.

Loved the story. Love the Series! Love Catherine Bybee! and I adored Karen and Zach.

Karen Jones: The petite blonde married a Hollywood star, yet she’s the one who spends every day playing a part: the part of a happy wife. A year ago, she agreed to wed a famous actor to diffuse rumors about his personal life. Now, her divorce sits just around the corner, along with a five million dollar payout. However, as she prepares to exit her fake marriage gracefully, her drop-dead-gorgeous brother-in-law walks through the door…and into her heart.

Zach Gardner: Dark-haired, blue-eyed hunk Zach crashes Michael and Karen’s fancy one-year anniversary party, determined to meet the wife his brother hid from their family. But sparks fly the moment he and Karen see each other. When the famous couple decides to visit the whole Gardner clan, Karen must keep Michael’s secret under wraps in front of his questioning relatives…including Zach, the man who could be the real love of her life.

    My Review:

This is an amazing book and my favorite so far in this series.   I love Karen and her marriage to Michael.  The fact that this is a fake marriage, but yet Karen and Michael do love and care for each other.   They also truly do make each other happy.   But then Catherine Bybee brings in Zach.   Hot, sexy, steamy Zach who happens to be Michael’s brother.   The sparks are immediate and undeniable, but Karen is Zach’s sister-in-law making her off limits.   It was great to see them circle each other, while working very hard to stay loyal to Michael and their values.

As the story continues we get small peaks into the rest of Michael’s family and their lives, but it definitely left me needing to know more.  I am hoping that the future books in this series will give me more about Judy, Hannah, and Rena.  Of course more with Zach and Karen would be perfect also.

This whole series is a favorite of mine and I highly recommend it.   The books do not have to be read in order, but you will have a better background on the characters if they are.

SINGLE BY SATURDAY is the fourth book in Catherine Bybee's Weekd

SINGLE BY SATURDAY is the fourth book in Catherine Bybee's Weekday Brides series and IMHO the best of them all. Which is saying a lot because I have loved every one of them.

This is the story of Karen Jones, who we met briefly in the very first book, Wife by Wednesday, as the director of the care home where Samantha's sister, Jordan was staying. She is also one of the Alliance clients Sam suggested to Blake when he needed a wife. Her role in each subsequent book has increased as her friendship (and eventually working relationship) with Sam, Eliza and Gwen has grown. When the gorgeous superstar action hero Michael (Gardner) Wolfe needed a wife of convenience to protect his status in Hollywood Gwen suggested Karen. She and Michael hit it off, easily came to a mutual understanding with temporary terms, were married, and became the best of friends while they waited until the agreed upon time for their friendly divorce.

I loved Michael! He was kind, thoughtful, caring and a wonderful husband to Karen in many ways. It was obvious in everything he did that he had come to love her very much... as a best friend, nearly as a sister. He treated her like a queen and helped her support the causes that were important to her. She in turn helped him with the Hollywood facade he wanted to present. The one of a successful actor with a beautiful and loving woman at his side supporting him.

Because they both understood their marriage was only temporary they chose not to involve others so no one would be hurt by their split. Including Michael's family. However, he comes from a large and close-knit family so this doesn't sit well with them. They send Michael's older brother, Zach, to investigate Karen and their marriage and then bring them back to Utah so they can all meet her. Unlike with Michael, Karen feels an immediate and overwhelming attraction to his brother, which he feels in return. And so the fun begins!! They all head back to Utah where we meet the rest of the delightful Gardner clan and, of course, they all love Karen. This brings on the guilt feelings for Michael and Karen knowing they will soon split. With the whole family in such tight quarters Zach and Karen are repeatedly thrown together and have to fight their attraction, but it's easy to see they are falling in love despite themselves.

As with all of Ms. Bybee's books, the characters in SbS feel real and down-to-earth, are distinct with well-developed personalities, will sometimes have you laughing out loud at their antics and banter, and other times will frustrate you as only someone you care about can. Because that is one of the things that make Bybee such a great writer, she makes you really care about her characters and their story. I find myself emotionally right in the middle of it all and hanging on every word to see how things could possibly work out for everyone. But she does it. Every. Single. Time. I won't even try to explain the wonder of how she works through her plots and subplots hooking you chapter by chapter with her typical wit, and just enough intrigue and danger to keep you guessing. But I will say I loved Michael, Karen, and Zach regardless of their crazy love triangle and was thrilled with the outcome and ending.

I have enjoyed all of the Weekday Bride books by Catherine Bybee

I have enjoyed all of the Weekday Bride books by Catherine Bybee, but this was by far my favorite. We got to know Karen through the previous books and met Michael in Fiance' by Friday. I found the friendship and camaraderie that Michael and Karen shared to be truly touching, and I fell instantly in love with Michaels family. (Well, okay, I didn't fall instantly in love with his dad). And Zach. Oh Zach. What a man. I didn't know how this could possibly play out when I realized the relationship between Zach and Michael. But Bybee pulled it off. Again! I highly recommend this book! It was a one sitting read for me.

Michael Wolfe is one of Hollywood's hottest movie stars.  Gorgeo

Michael Wolfe is one of Hollywood's hottest movie stars.  Gorgeous and such a sweet man, but he's hiding something from everyone.  Karen Jones works for a business that helps in such situations.  She agreed to help Michael keep his secret.  Karen never dreamed she'd meet Michael's family and come to care for them so much.  She really never expected to fall in love with  Michael's brother Zach.  What a mess this was and how were they to straighten it out?  Michael was the key to it all.

Another hit from Catherine Bybee!  Terrific characters and a well developed story line make this a must read.  I love the devotion between Michael and Karen. It is something you rarely see in friends or couples.  I love that the whole family took Karen to heart and made her part of the family. It gives the book the extra dose of love and warmth it needs.  This is a wonderful book to start off the new year with. Get it for your TBR pile!

I found no issues with this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because the story line is so original!    ~Copy of book provided by author in exchange for a fair review~

I think I could gobble up Bybee’s “Weekday Brides” books like candy. I absolutely could not put this one down and finished it in a day. Unlike Fiance by Friday, this one is definitely more romance than suspense, although there is a little drama at the end that kept me (just a little) on the edge of my seat.

We met Karen and Michael in Fiance by Friday and I was really looking forward to their story – and Bybee definitely didn’t disappoint. Michael has got to be one of my favorite characters. He has a big secret to keep and Karen is helping him do it. I adore the loving, non-sexual relationship between the two. Karen has her own issues. We got to know her a little in Fiance by Friday but didn’t get a lot of the details – she had a hard childhood and now spends her time helping other kids. She’s caring and giving and funny. She’s built a great relationship with Michael and is just waiting for the right time to stage their breakup … and then in walks Michael’s brother, Zach.

Zach is gorgeous, fun and troubled by being drawn to his sister-in-law. He’s got his own family issues to resolve and, although they aren’t as impactful as Karen or Michael’s, the Gardner family dynamic makes for compelling reading. Since we know the truth about Karen and Michael, it is a little easier to handle the attraction between her and Zach, but you know it has got to be a very difficult situation for him to be in.

If you’ve not read one of Bybee’s books, that’s OK - I think it would be fine to start here. Characters from previous books do make appearances, since they are all very close friends, but from what I can tell (since this is just my second book) the plots don’t bleed over too much. Yes, you would have met Michael and Karen before but Bybee does a good job of filling in all the details that you need.

With bold characters, captivating stories, and a snappy writing style, I think Bybee is going to be one of my go-to authors for a long time to come.

Who knew being married to one of Hollywood¿s hottest men, both l

Who knew being married to one of Hollywood’s hottest men, both literally and at the box office, would be the acting job of a lifetime? For someone not in the business, when Karen Jones married Michael Wolfe to help her friend keep a deep seeded secret and keep up his leading man status, she never dreamed meeting and spending time with his family would be the most difficult, and tempting, two weeks of her life.

With his family not believing that his wife is real, Michael’s brother, Zach Gardner, comes to town just in time to crash their one year anniversary party. Zach quickly learns that not only is Karen real, but that she is one of the most beautiful women he’s ever seen. Within hours of their meeting the sparks flying between Zach and Karen are undeniable to both of them, but they both know the other is off limits. After Zach departs, Karen encourages Michael to head home to Utah to spend overdue time with his family; the family that has never met his wife.

Over the course of their time in Utah, Karen learns the ins and outs of small town living, the pitfalls of living a lie even for the most noble reasons and she puts her background of working with troubled youth to the test to help a young couple, all while fighting mounting feelings for her brother-in-law, Zach.

Catherine Bybee once again takes us on an adventure filled with discovery, heartache, passion and acceptance.

One of the things I love so much about Bybee’s writing is the fact that all of her stories ring so true. The characters, their reactions and their struggles are true to life and once again she’s nailed it with Single by Saturday.

This latest installment of the The Weekday Brides series is absolutely fantastic! In typical Bybee style this story is heartwarming, humorous, and you won't want to put it down. When's that divorced scheduled?? You do not want to miss this one! Highly recommended!!
