    Men and women were created to be different. No surprise there, huh? Women tend to connect all of their ¿projects¿ together like spaghetti. Men compartmentalize, like the boxes in waffles. This is why my husband can only do one thing at a time. I, on the other hand, can explain an income statement to a client, check homework, and change a diaper all at the same time. The information in Single Men Are Like Waffles Single Women Are Like Spaghetti Is very similar to what I learned in an intercommunications class. This book would be a great read for such a class. Of course, it was meant to help those who are dating. Single men and women will find Single Men Are Like Waffles Single Women Are Like Spaghetti helpful in their quest for a spouse. God created both males and females. He created them to be different. With a great deal of humor and insight bill and Pam Farrel assist men and women in understanding each other. Waffles have little boxes surrounded by walls. Men think in boxes. They approach things ¿one box at a time.¿ Women think things through differently than men. The Farrels compare women¿s thought process to spaghetti. ¿Every thought is connected to every other thought and issue in some way.¿ Chapter 3 defines personality types. Using Biblical insights, the Farrels discuss sex, a social life, marriage, and children. This book is not just for singles that have never been married. It addresses issues that divorced and single parents will face. There are suggestions for almost free dates. Single Men Are Like Waffles Single Women Are Like Spaghetti by Bill and Pam Farrel is an excellent look at the differing thought processes of male and female. I found the information helpful even for married couples. The information is presented in a concise easy-to-understand format. The book concludes with discussion questions for small groups.
